****2018-19 Bruce’s Handsome Young Geniuses (Poll)****

You know, I still don't understand why the nation is so enamoured with football, and largely forgets basketball. Take the SEC this season. Football, no drama or intrigue. Everyone knows UGA and Bama are winning each division, with Bama winning another natty. But basketball, well...the SEC will be the strongest it's been in my lifetime, this season. I think any one of Auburn, Kentucky, or Tennessee should make the Final Four, if not all. Going to be an epic year.

agreed. CFB is so damn boring with far lesser athletes. Like any youngster would choose to play football over hoops at this point. Much more parity in cbb and the drama of the TOURNEY is unmatched.

Going to be honest. I watched more Basketball last year than I have in the last 15-20 years combined. That said I watched 3-4 games. I just cannot get into it no matter what, I keep trying and will again this year but....

I must’ve rearranged 2-5 at least a dozen times...

I’m currently leaning Austin, Jared, Bryce, Chuma, Danjel, Horace, Samir, Mac, Malik, J’Von, Macoy, Wun Wun, but I’m not ready to submit

I’ll also take credit for promoting the Young Geniuses tag... I don’t remember if I subconsciously stole that from one of you, but it fits so well that I don’t care as long as it catches on properly

I am apparently higher on Chuma than most and lower on Austin than most.

When you’ve got 6 All American caliber players to choose from you’re really splitting hairs ranking these young studs. Not to mention impressive physical specimens like Malik and Horace that could really elevate their games this year. Samir might even have the best all around game on the squad according to reports from the internet. It’s just ridiculous.

And just a note regarding the poll formatting it got all wonky when I tried to use an apostrophe so just know that I would have used where appropriate.

Guess it depends on what your criteria is for ranking. Chuma probably is the most talented but I think Jared, Bryce and Austin will. Be the most important players.

I agree 100%. Just to play devil's advocate, if Chuma were to completely unlock his potential he could become the most important player. He just has the potential to be such a mismatch.

If Brown can stay healthy like he was at first 2/3rd of the season last year he'll be first team all SEC. I've been on the Brown train for a couple years. We won ever game he scored 13 or more points last year. To me, it's the moist important number from last year.

I've been a Bryce Brown truther for quite some time now. He's got the potential to make us so deadly. But he's got to stay in his lane and keep his head right. We also need to run him off more screens and get him better looks so he doesn't start getting desperate for a chance, that's when he jacks up bad shots that are too off balance and rushed. He's our Ray Allen and if we can use him as our sniper he will make teams change their defense and then Austin and others can eat.

Excellent. Tbb coming in hot. I screen capped the polling before can see if there’s any difference between tbb input and the Greg.

I assume that it will be tainted to a degree, but Bruce's greatness is something that can bring boogs together and give them hope so I think it is an overall good idea.

I was hesitant to post it, because there are so many people not getting good boog basketball education right now by not reading here.

However, sample size needs to be large so that when Denim's Dandy Dozen come out soon we have a decent baseline.

Gang, I downloaded the results as a csv. Someone put Mac first and Austin last. If it was one of you, please explain this to me.
