Pettway or no, the remainder of Auburn's season is all but etched in stone. I guess they've got a chance against TAMU, but I feel pretty confident about a 1-3 finish.

How the hell does MALIK not already have at least 15-20 pass attempts on the year yet? He’s your damned backup QB and literally the ONLY other scholarship QB on the entire roster. You already know the kid is capable of running and handing off. How’s about you work on the finer points of his game and try developing a HS QB for a change?
How the hell does Barrett not have at least 30-40 carries and 10-15 receptions yet? Maybe then the defense wouldn’t completely key on him when he comes in the game to run the same exact one play every game.
How the hell does Kam Martin not have a role in every game as the speed sweep guy or as a check down guy? He’s the fastest RB we have by a mile.

Saban put in his backup, dude throws a pick-6, and then Saban leaves his ass out there to keep running the whole offense for the rest of the game. Sure would be nice if Gus would learn a thing or two from the GOAT.
But, to nobody's surprise, Gus only watched film of his games and doesn't actually watch the teams he's gonna play...because, it doesn't matter who is out there if you have the perfect plays, right?
You just have to execute them...with a subpar OL, while not playing your best players.

yeah, like, I wanted to deny for so so long that I could do a legitimately better job as head coach of this team with only 2 years of highschool and 2 years of middle school football under my belt but I really could...so could most football enthusiasts with a decent iq. It's one of those things that sounds shitty to say when you say it outloud you sound like a salty ignorant fan but at this point from what we've seen it really is just a sad fact.
I think that there are a lot of people out there that would be great CEO type head coaches like Dabo. If you gave them the money to hire great assistants, they wouldn't need any football experience.
