Can’t believe that trash MSU squad is in the winners bracket. Arky smoked Texas and may just be the favorites at this point. UNC upset Oregon St and TTU/UF is tied at the moment. Can’t really decide if I want UF to go 0-2 or win the damn thing.

As I was typing this they showed the fuggin Canseco and now I’m sure I want UF to lose in heartbreaking fashion..

Everything fell into place for MSU so far, ever since they walked off FSU (#1 seed in their regional) and knocked them out. Kudos to them for taking full advantage of it. I was most surprised to see OSU go down in the first round to UNC. But TT is legit.

I have Arky winning it all. Who you think?

They aren’t a great hitting team. But their defense has been what’s let them down the most the last few weeks. They just aren’t making the routine plays consistently right now. When it was tied 1-1, Schwarz had a chance to end an inning on a moderately tough play and didn’t even get a glove on the ball to knock it down and keep two runs from scoring.

I think they’re a very good team, especially at home. But I don’t think they have enough consistency at the plate and aren’t playing well enough in the field to win the CWS this year.

You can blame it on Paw for the most part for not getting the kids out of their travel ball mindset once they got on campus. Took Sonny two years and a bunch of kids crying to finally instill a little mental toughness in our program and Butch will start to see it pay off bigly once he learns to manage games a little better
