heartbreaker last night, but so many exciting matchups in this one

Jared vs Justin Coleman
Austin/Mac vs Chase Jeter
BRUCE and Sean Miller vs their shirts
Bill Walton vs the limits of the human imagination

10:30 pm CST tip on the 2nd biggest bar night of the year the night before the best day of the year... should be an absolute joy to experience

Gotta go with the boogs in this one. Chuma and Samir should still have a lot left in the tank and of course Bryce and Jared are just supremely conditioned specimens.

AZ looked good for about 25 mins last night. Would have been nice if we got that Coleman kid to come backup Jared.

I’m pretty damn pumped to have Walton on the call.

Boys, i'll miss this one. I'm getting up early in the morning to have a dove hunt at the farm. JH and BB have played a lot of minutes because that juco isn't good. I still think we win.

Coleman as a backup would’ve been amazing - but it’s the curse of being a blue blood... so deep that we can’t promise enough minutes, so you have to settle for a school lol Arizona if you’re deadset on getting a guaranteed starters minutes

I did chuckle during their first game against I think Illinois, when the announcer said Coleman chose Arizona because he wanted to make the NCAA tourney... could’ve just moved a couple hours south and played on the team that won the SEC, but I guess moving across the country for a rebuilding bubble team works too

Would love to see us work be ball into Chuma and Austin tonight on the low post. Zona does not have nearly the size or girth that duke had so we can score on them in the paint. If Austin plays like he did last night, 17/9 vs duke is probably good for 25/13 against zona. Another element I'd like to see is Austin/Chuma kicking the ball back out for open 3s. We have not done that much yet and I think it could be a huge element for us given that Jared or Bryce are deadly if given a chance to catch and shoot when open.

Its going to be a big test. How will our guys come out after a tough loss? Bruce was saying the right things in the locker room. Told the guys we would be playing for March tonight. With a full day to refocus and recover, hopefully we come out with our best performance of the tournament and put on a dominating show.

Would love to see Malik and Austin get the nod at the 3 and 5. Samir has hasn't played well at all and Austin has made a much bigger impact than Mac.

Interesting preview from their side. They are real focused on the FBI shit. They have a lot left to worry about while we do not. Nice shot of Sean spitting all over the place included...

Yeah I think they deserve to after the last couple games although I’m not expecting it.

Mac is shooting 15% from 3 on the season. He needs to find that 35+% to be that real matchup problem on O. We’ve all seen Samir’s struggles.

We get so many good looks there’s no reason this squad shouldn’t be 40% or better from 3 on avg.

Glad to see Xavier taking it to Illinois. Need those assholes to shape up and play like a competent team from here on out to make that a quality W for us.
