DofJMU Posters Disrupt Slow Night on Rupp Rafters (Earn Nomination)

Hey gang,

Just wanted to bring some deserved attention to some of your fellow poster(s). As a regular poster of my home board (see thread title), this board should be proud of the members @MomentInTheSun, et al. that were able to stoke the fires over at RR. I nominated them for a "Postie"; an RR "nomination" earned by entertaining comment/thought . . . a FIRST for a visiting member. Very entertaining and well-coordinated. Not going to work out so well for unknowing Auburn fans. :)

Anyway, for those that engineered/participated . . .

As nice a job as you all did, I'd like to request you visit the nat'l board as well. I spend a little time there too. They're a little tougher crowd to rattle, but there is a good representation of KU, Duke, larger programs, etc, with many of them considering themselves quite the battlers. Obviously you need no pointers in luring them into the ring, and I always enjoy a good rustle.

What do you think? Mission accepted?

Nah. I just kinda wanted to have some fun. But I’ll definitely be back on Rupp during game day

It's formerly a term of disparagement used by rival fanbases- short for boogers or booger eaters. We use it as a term of pride and brotherhood, and also to talk trash about the home bourde goobers who have an elementary understanding of sports (and life) in general.

Oh . . . that's put in place to prevent spammers. Sorry. Forgot about that. I had to email Rivals_IB@Yahoo.com to request having the posting limit lifted. He's a mod on the football board, but the lift works across all their boards. IB responds pretty quickly. It's just a formality. FWIW, I also called in some AU cavalry to bolster your stance for reinforcements.

I give them credit. Their branding and marketing programs worked perfectly. They found a luxury market nobody knew existed and they then scaled it down to cups and gadgets more people could afford so they could be part of Yeti culture. Now they’ll throw some more high priced, completely unnecessary items out there so that they can feed the “look how good I’m doing I have a $500 lawn chair” crowd. They’ve taken the Gucci/Versace scheme and put it into gear for middle America and we’re eating it up like it’s cocaine and we’re addicts.

It’s surprisingly easy. Why are those guys so tight? It’s like their very own soul is dependent on their beloved basketball team.
