All we needed was for Gus not the screw it up. Welp Gus is gonna screw it up.

Makes me so happy. He'd be an absolute fool to come to AUBURN, but my dawg friends have been guaranteeing hs commitment this weekend for a ong damn time. Hell, I had a google calendar alert this morning that woke me up which read "Fields coming to UGA Sept. 15 @8am" lolz...
After 2013, I figured we'd have a pipeline of DTQBs coming to AU for the foreseeable future to try and play for championships. Only Gus, and to a lesser extent, Rhett could've screwed that up. And boy did they ever.
The amazing thing is he did a ton of it on porpoise. He wanted to show the NFL he could cut it.

Urban started to make this mistake too with Cardale Jones when they tried to go more pocket passing/less QB run stuff. At least he was smart enough to run from that terrible decision somewhat quickly.
Gus got himself so deep into "impress the NFL" mode he can't get out and now he probably needs to figure out how to impress a high school HC enough to be considered for a OC gig.
I've seen him in FSU gear, AU gear, UGA gear and UA gear. It was our turn. If the kid wouldn't commit until he saw this new offense, then I think we have our answer.
Dude would fit in well here. He can troll with the best of them. He has been tutored by the master. Lord I bet the boog board is in high gear now already drawing up plays with their magic markers. Anointing him as their savior. Their bus crash back to reality will be glorious.
