My beloved Thompson Warriors have

I have to brag on my cousin. He had season ending hip surgery 2 weeks ago. He started the season as Max Preps player of the week and was going to have a big senior year. Unfortunately his injury did not allow that, but he earned academic scholar athlete of the week. Very proud of him!

Is bruh gonna go play ball anywhere?

Meant to come back and say after watching this game and looking at the bracket I really like Thompson's chances. They are better than I realized. Hoover's receivers are great, but I don't think that QB will win them state. Here is a projection of the playoff bracket, not sure how much of this is set in stone:

Basically the way I see it Thompson will have two tough games. First and 2nd round will be a joke. They will kill either Bob Jones or Mtn Brook. They will then likely have a rematch with Hoover or play Hewitt for the North and then I think they will play Central or maybe Auburn (but way more likely Central) for State. That Hoover game will go a long way in them being battle tested. Good luck @Gran_Polla !

What an ass whoopin the Red Devils put on the Warriors. Thompson acted like they won state when they beat Hoover. To me, they seemed like they could just “show up” and beat Central. Thompson is a lot better team than what they showed. Hoover coaches thought Thompson would win. I graduated from Thompson, but they sucked for so long and my best friend coaches at Hoover it’s hard to pull for them. They also have way to many bammer commits.

Side note: talked to Chris Humes for the whole Thompson/Hoover game. For those that don’t know that is George’s brother. I asked him point blank, “will George sign with Auburn?” He said, “you can’t rule nothing out, but my mom loves Gus and so does George. I played for Chip at Spain Park and Gus at Arkansas State. There is history there and my parents feel Gus is a good honest man. I think he’ll stick.” Now, Chip was still an Auburn assistant then, but I think for George Gus is the important piece in his recruitment. I know he is for his mother. I hate Gus and he may waste this kids talent like he has so many, but if he hangs on to him it will be impressive. Every other program is after him hard.

Another side note: I wouldn’t take Robbie Ashford if I’m any program. Kid is athe biggest cry baby bitch. It’s bad when George calls you a bitc, because George can be one himself. He’s only 15, so he “may” mature, but holy hell its god awful. I also believe he’ll get drafted real high in the MLB draft.

One more thing: I wish Auburn would offer Larry McCammon. George’s brother and George are trying to get them to listen. I personally think he is legit. He was the fuel that made the engine run at Hoover.
