OT: Beaux Nicks

If the dude starts as a freshman in the SEC under Gus we are in big fuggin trouble. I’m not quite on @L I G E R level of calling him SW, but the next HS QB Gus develops into a halfway decent QB will be the first....
Ever since the Jeremy Johnson debacle, I think it's obvious that Gus now totally values ball control/no interceptions over big play ability. And after watching Willis and Gatewood this past spring game, I'm not convinced either will turn into the efficient passer that Gus will feel safe with. Long way off, but I can easily see Bo being the guy in 2019

I wouldn’t put anything past Gus, but that doesn’t change the fact that we’d be in huge trouble if it happens..

Completely agree on Gus’s thinking now. He’s still got PTSD from JJ.

Malik’s passing seems to be sucking a lot more than I would’ve liked

Agree on Gus’ development skills, but Bo is much better than SW.

Gabe Gross
Kodi Burns

Gabe was a part time starter who took the job from Leard correct? I don’t remember Kodi starting a game, if he did it was because Brandon Cox was hurt. I meant Day 1 starters. Stan started from day 1 as a RFR. Only Freshman that I know of to do that.

All of this is pretty much true. Kodi came in against Missippi State when Cox was struggling & the change of pace worked before they adjusted at half time. Gross got most of the PT in 1998 & faded in 1999. Jeff Klein (sp) played a lot when both of those were hurt or something like that. I know he was 3rd string when he started in Knoxville early that year.

Oh, ok then.......

Stan White was a RFR? I thought he Signed with Auburn in 1990.

Damn, He did graduate in 89.

My first post you quoted was poorly worded(surprise). I should’ve said from day 1 there. We just have to worry if he’s the starter either way IMO. Stan went 5-5-1 with a ton of talent around him in ‘90. The 98 season was 3-8 or so, although I’m not sure how many Gabe started.
