I’d love a real route tree...dream on.All f'ng around aside here, the boogs WR corps is pretty boss. I'd love to get some jump balls thrown to nitro Nate so we can take advantage of his strong hands. Seems like Slayton gets all the jump ball throws and thats not really his forte.

Catching passes in general isn’t really Slayton’s forte. But staying inside Gus’s inner circle definitely is.All f'ng around aside here, the boogs WR corps is pretty boss. but the Edelman and Welker comparisons are overblown.
The best NFL comparison is Cole Beasley, which is still unfair to Beasley. He had a great college career.
I wish he would truly show out and become that kind of receiver while he was stil at AU. Appears he has the speed and that's the part you can't coach.
A quarterback and coach willing to actually have a diverse passing game might do that for them. I think if that were to happen Nitro Nate and Ryan Davis would be the beneficiaries in the passing game, but I think Hastings could be a red zone threat in the flats.
A blind squirrel will find a nut eventually. Give Nasty Nate the same amount of targets slayton received this past season and the numbers wouldn’t even be closeFeel like he's got value. He's one of the few bigger targets we have that can get open and stay open without requiring everyone else being covered (like Hastings).

REPORTEDI have never understood this "Nate Craig vs Every Other WR" thing that people have. I also don't understand why praising another WR for doing some things well is somehow an attack against Craig. I also don't believe in a conspiracy to exclude Craig from the offense.
If we had a legit deep threat with great hands, our WR group would be the best in the country. The problem is that we rely on Slayton who is mediocre. He has Sammy Coates' hands without the elite speed. He's fast, just not NFL elite WR deep threat fast. If we could have just signed that Ruggs kid last year, he would have been a real game changer for us.
I don't know that I think he's NFL deep threat fast, but he finds ways to get open deep. That's really all I'm saying. I mean, yeah I'd love to have Ruggs too.
Since he has mediocre hands teams gamble and play man on the outside a lot more than they would if we had a stud out there.
I would like a receiver that got deep, ran great routes, and caught everything for sure.
I think Slayton is way better than people give him credit for.
It’s not a “Nate Craig vs everybody else” thing so much as it’s a “Nate is far more talented and more a natural pass catcher than anyone else on our roster” kinda thing.I have never understood this "Nate Craig vs Every Other WR" thing that people have.
