First candidate (In no particular order) for discussion - Harrison Ford.

Grew up addicted to a lot of his movies

Star Wars
Indiana Jones
Clear and Present Danger
Patriot Games
Air Force One

Still haven’t seen the Bladerunner flicks yet.
Dude was ballin for a time then kind of disappeared.

Not really "fans" of anyone after I've seen who they are up close...to get to that point you either have to be born into it, obsessed with yourself, or obsessed with your art and guess which one most fall into.

That being said. I like Ashton Kutcher for his work against child trafficking and I admire Chris Pratt as a general human being.

I do not care a out them as people. If they are not saying their lines, I prefer them to just shut their pie holes. They can be the worst human beings in the world and it wouldn’t change my view of their talents. Example Roman Polanski’s legal trouble doesn’t change my view of Rosemary’s Baby.

For the record mark Hamill completely disagreed with they way they wrote Luke in the new movies.

Indiana Jones is great. Star Wars is the most overrated anything of all time - yeah I know that's a hot take. I do love Harrison Ford though.

As far as actors go I will take Daniel Day Lewis. Dude is a fvcking master of his craft.

Guy who has been in an insane # of great movies but gets looked over because he spent 20 years as a heart throb on the cover of all the In Touch like mags.....Brad Pitt. Kalifornia, Se7en, Fight Club, 12 Monkeys, Snatch, Inglorious Bastards, 12 Years a Slave, The Big Short...those are just off the top of my head. He's in Denzel territory but doesn't get the credit essentially because he started off as the guy all our girlfriends were lusting over.

Another one who has a better list of movies than you'd think is Keanu. We all get to joke about how terrible he was early on ...."I am an FBI agent". But he's been in some good stuff as he got older. The John Wick series alone changes my mind on him.

Ha, I used to hate Kenanu so much. To the point I still don't think I've really watched the Matrix series. I'm glad I let the hate out of my heart cause John Wick has been a joy. What entertainment.

It's great. And one of the low key "I have to watch it if it's on" movies for me is Constantine. He's really good in that as well and for whatever reason I find that flick catches my imagination.

Heath Ledger (RIP) - A Knight's Tale is my GOAT. I can find a way to quote something from that movie when engaged in conversation with my wife at anytime. She absolutely HATES that movie now, and only for that reason alone. I will have it on DVD or whatever platform we're using when my daughter is old enough to start watching stuff like that.
