Injured his knee at practice today. Barner Matthews said it looked pretty bad. That's 2 WR out with injuries, and one converted to DB. Great spring, eh?

Read about the scrimmage elsewhere. Apparently the ungenius is running his subpar excellence offensive offense this spring with Stidham out so the defense was keying in on the offense during the scrimmage. ( Of course he is and of course they are )

Guess we are down to the dive at the A gap and swing passes behind the line.

Defense keying on the offense?

Thanks Gus

Any news on what tourneys Bruce and the boys will be playing in? SEC/Big 12 Challenge?

Tune in to the Boog board Monday to hear ricecakes’ explanation on how losing Stove and Spot will make us better.

No rice is explaining to everyone that if you're not his doctor then you can't know that they're going to be out. I finally put him on ignore.

We will not be a good football team this year. Which is why I can’t bring myself to GAF about fall. Rather skip straight to November and our first exhibition basketball game.
I'm glad I'm not the only one the sees it. Despite the bad OL, scared QB, clueless offensive coaching, lack of DB talent, and scatback riddled RB core this is still an 8-9 win team because the rest of the SEC is garbage.

Can’t wait to follow up this hilarious “comedy of errors” season with another Grimes-esque recruiting class completely devoid of tackles.

Only then will the complete destruction of our football program’s future be complete.

I cannot believe I’m saying this, but I’ve told myself I’m not going to care for football until Gus leaves again. I have zero confidence in him to win a championship unless we come across another Nick or Cam. Kirby and Saban will dominate cfb for the next 10+ years. We had the perfect opportunity to let Gus walk and get Brohm, and I can’t believe Leath gave the goober that contract. My only hope is the Bruce rubs off on him, but Gus is too stubborn. I hope I’m wrong!

My excitement kinda died when stidham announced he was coming back. I thought the only hope for us beating Georgia and bama was to go back to 2013 and run with Malik. Although, it wouldn’t be the 2013 team because we obviously have no tackles worth a damn, and potentially have no center either. Thank god we’re guard U though and stockpile that position. RB is also suspect unless Boobie Whitlow ends up being an every down back. Zero chance Gus/Horton allow a freshman to take over and be the #1 guy. Devan Barrett fumbled in a scrimmage yesterday BTW, so he may as well hang up the spikes.

I think Whitlow will turn into the #1 guy. Big question for me is who can turn into a great #2? I think Stidham is a great passer, but Gus will never utilize him correctly. Stidham’s also quite a pussy when it comes to pressure, and Gus’ passing plays usually take too long to develop. I think Malik could be great, but he won’t get the teaching he needs from Beep Boop.

I’m afraid Stidham may actually die this season.

Sucks for Stove that he’s going to miss a year of not being developed as a true WR and wasting any NFL potential he may have by being a “speed sweep” guy.
:( I feel the worst for NCM. If he can do a better job of getting open, he’d be amazing. Best hands of anyone ever at auburn?

We don’t beat LSU L

Lately, LSU at JH early in the season has resulted in lopsided ass beating by AU. Usually this is the beginning of the momentum that Gus rides until he crashes in Nov. I expect the same this year. Also, LSU is a mediocre program and has been for the last 4-5 years. They are like AU’s twin in the West. Still think they have a better coach because Gus is Gus.

NCM will prob be kicked around the time Gus gets to the gravy part of the schedule. The team will start looking like world beaters because of the level of comp and everyone will praise Gus for kicking that distraction from the team and declare Gus a great roster manager. I mean it worked for tossing all the other talented WRs so ....

I actually think we have a pretty good chance to be 9-0 going into UGA.

I think we finish 10-2 though.

I can share this story as Kyle Davis is now gone. One night me and some buddies headed down to Auburn in December for some basketball games and ended up partying with KD all night. He had a calendar in his room for when he had to quit taking drugs to pass his drug tests, lol.

I think we go 9-3. Gus will muck up one early season game like always. And wins at Uga and at Bama are unlikely. Every other game, AU should be favored by a decent amount

Our W total will be 8.5 at least. You can make lots of money if you actually have confidence in that prediction.

Even though we haven’t seen enough game action to make this claim IMO, I’ve heard enough stories to think he’s possibly one of the most athletic WR’s we’ve had.
