I don't want someone with no experience, but if that's the only option I'd have over Gus I'd take it without even hesitating. Heath would probably hire a great staff because they'd get control of their side of the ball and he knows people. He'd recruit (cheat) like hell cause he knows the system. But he's got zero experience as a HC so stuff would get weird.
But he'd coach circles around Gus because he has a functioning brain. So if the excuse is "we can't afford the buyout" just hire Heath for his low price listed here and give the experiment a try. I can't take another season of Gussy.

If they'd make Heath the Interim HC for the rest of the season I'd go streaking through my neighborhood. After the season, fugg that. Time to clean house and find the best young wolf out there. Give him the best resources possible. Quick acting like hicks and get a plan in place. Have some damned foresight.

no he just allowed himself to believe even Gus couldn't Gus as hard as he did yesterday...Gus has ruined Awbren football for me. I'm not sure i'll watch another snap this year. So tired of the emotional roller coaster, he can have it.
I feel so sorry for these kids, they deserve a lot better. Gus will be here another year, and AU football will be sub par and squander it's talent for another year.
