OT: How Hurt is BOOBEE

Will be interesting to see who gets the Wildcat carries with Boobie out. Joiner did well, but I have a feeling that he’s destined for the redshirt
Is it just me or does it seem incredibly short sighted to play guise in early games if you plan on redshirting them? What happens if someone goes down, say, in the bama game (like, I don't know, a RB who avgs 20+ carries a game), and we need someone who can play a couple of games WITHOUT losing their redshirt?

Normally I would say yes, but our shit show recruiting at so many positions dictates that everyone on the roster needs to be as prepared as possible to play at game speed.

I could see him missing the next three games and the bye week. He'd then be ready to roll for A&M.
Unless Asa and Joiner both step up big time, I think I'm gonna go with a 14-13 MooU win prediction. Probably have to downgrade to 7-6 on the season, though it's possible Gus could beat the odds and win his 2nd bowl game in 6 years to pull off a miracle 8 win season.

it really is a shame for Kam Martin that he finally gets a chance to start and it's behind the least talented offensive line in over a decade. I don't think Kam's as bad as he looks. I don't think he's amazing or anything, but it's a pity for him that he doesn't have a braden smith or even a darius james to help him get to the second level where he's so effective.

He's a typical 1000 yard RB in a Gus Malzahn offense. Not very good, but in an offense that would traditionally run him until he broke. We just don't have the OL to sustain drives breaking RBs this season, see BOOBEE already broke.
