OT: If Michel isn’t the RB in OT, Kirby has approached Gus levels of derp.

So no Michel in the last half of the 4th and/or in OT? Is this real life?

I’m telling you, college coaches are some of the stupidest people on the planet. It’s literally a game of who can get their boosters to buy the most great players and who can have a coach be the least tarded on game day.

And these jackasses get paid millions.

I’m in the wrong business.

I'd be really interested in this sport to see an alternate timeline of the best fans coaching instead of these morons. I think a lot of us in regular jobs getting paid a lot less could do a lot better.

Chubb over Michel had "we're going to play the guy we like personally" written all over it

Trying to go with the Wildcat too many times, especially revisiting the version with #4 taking the snap after it worked once on the goal line, is borderline malpractice. Of all people Kirby should know this, right? You will not fool that defense with the same odd look on a 100% run play a second time. You are lucky it worked once. Do not ever try to repeat that formation/look in that same game. That's some Les Miles stuff right there.

Gus drives me crazy but some of the stuff that I get all crazy about I saw repeated last night by the dawgs. I won't even start on their game management late in the game and into that possession in OT. Just terrible, horrible, no good junk that was.

Reactions: Big Blue
Sony Michel
14 carries for 98 yards

Rest of UGA team:
31 carries for 35 yards

Final 13:28 of 4th quarter and all of OT, Sony got one carry/touch

Oh dear.

Goodness that's terrible. I had said since he got hired Chaney was the weak spot for Kirby. Still think that's true even though they were at times more imaginative and creative than I thought they could be this year. I'm not sure you are going to see any better from Chaney in the future. Feels like this was his ceiling to me.

I'd be so salty if I were a pup this morning. That was our 2013 title game except that instead of only having a 3 year drought from a NC they have a 37 year drought to think about. I walked out of the Rose Bowl sad but telling myself I had just walked out of Glendale a few years before in ecstasy. Made the blow less harsh.

I don't put that all on Cheney. I didn't he called a back game. Where he called a bad game in the 2nd half was being hell bent on running the ball up the middle on 3rd and short.

But Kirby takes blame in the mismanagement of who plays as well.
