I’m about three hours into The Name of the Wind audiobook. Pretty cool so far. I’m also still trying to finish up A Dance with Dragons, but the struggle is real.

I also listened to the first four episodes of the new “Cults” podcast this past week. First two episodes were on Manson and the Family, second two were about Heaven’s Gate. I recommend both if you’re interested in that kinda stuff.

What’s everyone reading/listening to these days?

Manson family never did it for me.

You need to watch the Netflix special called I think “Holy Hell”. You figure out pretty early what the catch is with the leader

I’m reading A Column of Fire, a book about WW1, and John Adams on and off.

Thanks for the recs bruh....I've been looking for some interesting podcasts to listen to while working. Gonna check out the cults

It's solid for the genre. I really like the books that No Starch Press puts out. For the parents out there I would highly recommend a book I recently bought for my sister and niece:

Are you a self taught coder? I'm trying to become more proficient within the next year or so. And by proficient I mean actually able to do it

I see you didn't mention a podcast because nothing can live up to the GOAT

The last book I read was that Harry Potter play and it was terrible. It probably wouldn’t have been terrible in narrative form but plays definitely aren’t her medium

LOL, no. I can do some basic scripting and I can modify someone else's code fairly well with python and javascript but I would not ever call myself a coder. It's a skill that is extremely important though and will continue to become more and more so.
