This is when I really start getting into the LEAGUE, but my interest has waned a bit with the absence of CAM & the resurgence of the HYGS. Usually start showing interest in Week 17 which basically is a play-in weekend, but most spots were already secured before last weekend. Need @Slippin Jimmy & @Harvey Specter to jump in here & give me their thoughts on whether Tom Brady will add another ring & whether is should be labeled GOAT.

I’m rolling with the CHIEFS. Belichick is the GOAT and I suspect Brady would be looking at a career along the lines of Matt Ryan without him

I think the Chiefs are the favorite this year due purely to the fact that they have an absolute beast at QB this year that I certainly didn't see coming.

There will be some great matchups this year although I hate that the Steelers collasped and didn't make it. I always enjoy watching them even though it's been more drama than substance lately from them.

Edit: Brady is the GOAT regardless.

Could see the Bears making a run with that nasty D. Of course they gotta get by Mr Playoffs Nick Foles in the WC game first.

I'm rooting for the Chargers but I think I'm going with Bears as my pick. That defense is unreal. Just hoping Trubisky doesn't go trash on us.

To answer the OP's question, I don't think the GOAT has a Super Bowl run in him this year.

I bet my son the Bears would win the SB about a month ago. my son told me I was crazy and took the Saints. I think their weapons on offense are underrated and they have the best defense of any team in the playoffs and it’s not even close. My only worry is will MT be able to come through in the clutch on the road. Saints home field advantage is real.

Lamar Jackson looks horrible today. Think he’s about to get yanked for Flacco.

Yeah pretty impressive. I mean players don't regress when they go to bama, it's something I'm not familiar with as a Boog fan.
It’s a travesty that the state of Alabama doesn’t have an nfl team, much like Kentucky with an nba team. You can never go wrong drafting a kid from the sec.

Lord, Lord what a game by Foles & the Green Wings. Three straight must win games just to get here & they remind me of the Eli & the 2011 Giants, but much more like the Eagles of last year. Amazing story & I’ll believe they lose when they do.

And just like that, here come da Bears.

Maybe. But luckily got paid with the contract he signed before the year.

But as soon as he kicked the practice one, I was thinking, "Uh oh, he gonna miss the real one"
Yeah I never want the guy to kick it anyway after a timeout. He made it but probably tried to tweak it a little and caused him to miss the real one. Tough break for the leagues best D.

Philly @ NO
Colts @ Chiefs
Cowboys @ Rams
Chargers @ New England

Should be a good divisional round.

Worst part about the Parkey thing is that it was actually tipped, but I saw people are still blasting him.

I don't think he can stay in CHI. Just gonna be relentless after any single miss next season. He'll be fine. His career earnings are around $10 million. Even if he just gets cut and decides to call it quits he's made a great living from football. And since the NFL has a ton of kicking turnover he's bound to keep getting signed to random jobs for 5 weeks here and there.

Out of our 3 really good kickers in last decade he always seemed the least clutch to me. Byrum and Carlson just seems more reliable. Parkey was very consistent but seemed to struggle more late in games.

He (Rivers) was a lifelong boog fan if I recall that never got an offer as a QB. Think they wanted him at TE.
Yeah he is from Athens. I had to buy a 3 mini-package of three to that infamous 3-17 TECH game in 2003 of Boogs, Clemmy & NCS just to get tickets. I sold the Clemmy tickets to someone iirc. The morning after the game, I gave away the NCS tickets at a filling station in Douglasville to some folks from Athens so they could go see him play (just rambling here I guess @CJ3131 LOL )
Side note: The Hugh Nall squad ranked #6 in preseason that had no TD's the entire first game.
EDIT to say first two games

Kinda sux when pretty your entire weekend is planned around Playoff Saturday & Sunday & you get these results. Gotta keep on watching or help the wifey put away all the Christmas stuff I suppose.

As a bungles fan, I’m anxiously awaiting the rams to lose so zac Lombardi Taylor can take over.

If you had told me that the teams with the best records in football would meet in the championship games.....I would have believed you.

Also, Chicago wasn't going to beat Los Angeles the way they played and beat down Dallas.
