Gus and Chip exchanged fisticuffs of the pathetic oulde man variety after that abysmal showing in Clemson. All is well in Boogville now though as Chip goes to the booth and Worm moves to the sidelines. The goal of OUTBACK Bowl is still well within reach.

JJ is getting fired y'all just be patient for real!

Softball is still on the lookout for a new corch. PE Corches from around the SE continue to jockey for this $50k/ year gig. Timeline is to have someone in place by early March of 2000 and NBGAF.

PRO DAY is only a couple weeks away. NBA execs are salivating at the chance to see the stable of studs BRUCE has put together.

Now that we are the "Duke's," does that sway your allegiance more toward your Dukies rather than yore Tar Heels or will this have no bearing on yore love of two of the 3 great blue bloods in college basketball?

Interesting question. It's possible. I think I've always leaned Dukies but it's close. C Laet is my all time fav. They still have corch K. It's kinda like with your kids. You love them all but you love the first one the most. Still take joy in all their successes.

I'm a sidewalk Dukie myself. My brother was such a huge fan growing up that I just kind of bought in...made it fun to go to some games and shit when I was a youngster. I did get a god laugh at his expense in 1999 when Porter graced the cover of SI. This year, a mere 18 years later, I feel like I'm finally gonna have the upper hand again
