I've never seen a poster so good at luring reasonable posters into debates and then absolutely rustling the fvk out of them. Like an anaconda of ignorance.
And whenever you think you've got him, cold hard facts which completely derail/shatter his narrative, he does the Bernard:

It’s a fascinating topic. One we’ve delved into before. At the end of the day I always err on someone being dumber than I could possibly imagine than smarter. And bots aren’t that advanced yet imo. I found it best to just berate the child and move on in my later Boog board days.

He rustled me a bit today. I usually just find him entertaining because of he spins more than Roc Thomas and somehow always thinks he's gotten the best of folks... Nothing typically rustles me, but him posting articles showing the results of studies and research to back his opinion that "splenda causes heart disease and diabetes" and "diet soda is worse than regular" and going after posters who disagreed, when the articles actually did not say anything to back his opinion but instead refuted his opinion, it did rustle me a bit. It's one thing to use silly stats to supposedly prove an absurd opinion about Chip Lindsey or Kerryon, but to link articles that completely disagree with your point in an attempt to have people just think "hey, there's a link so it must be true," kinda annoys me. It was an interesting conversation that got ruined because he'd rather be right than have an educated discussion.

Anyway, I do wish he'd bite on my post last night asking him to prove why he claims Chip Lindsey is a proven QB guru/developer... I noted that he's coached one good college QB and that was at Southern Miss. I guess he hasn't yet found an opinion piece to link as fact to prove his position on that topic. Can't wait though.

I think his case is a perfect one to consider what it means to be “rustled” by someone... I neither hate nor pity him - I’m generally indifferent... I enjoyed batting him around like a speed bag every month or two but that was about it... but I also have zero tolerance for stupidity - and even less for unearned arrogance... arrogance from people who have achieved massive success is understandable - it’s when idiots are arrogant that it offends me... and he’s an 11 out of 10 in both

so does that mean he’s “rustled” me? or is that the only logical reaction to have to someone like that? is it a statement about me - or about him specifically - or about societal archetypes and me/you/the wisest among us and our views towards modern society in general?

I was referring to the Gus part of your post (the though of that happening).

But today, he is coaching us up on the following:

1) 9.2 is almost 10
2) Stidham and Willis/Gatewood are very similar QBs
3) Stidham is just as mobile as Gatewood

Im trying to see what angle is taking with his comparison of Lamar Jackson sack total and JS's. Should be interesting

I lol'd at him using Stidham's HS rushing stats to back up how similar he and Gatewood are.

Thanks for your help in that thread, stuts. Kept it real. Just ridiculous. It's still going on, sadly.

But you have a good point. The fact is that the jury is still out on Chip. You can't draw a conclusion about his ability to do anything. I will say that while he did develop the Southern Miss QB, he did some good stuff with Troy QB Corey Robinson in the limited time he had (ironically that guy was making NFL throws in the Arky St & beep boop vs Troy game in 2012) but these are Sun Belt/Conf USA teams, not SEC teams. It's not even clear what exactly Chip is doing as an OC now.

I saw where you "followed" me over there & @CJ3131 has tagged me in some threads that are old school Boog football. I enjoy reading them when I can "get through" which isn't easy for me.

In the most embarrassing moment in the history of message boards, I offered Rice a years sub to taterville if he’d promise not respond to any of my posts during that year. 100 bucks to help cure my lack of self control disease when it comes to idiots, seemed like a bargain! Couldn’t work it out because of passwords and stuff(and no Venmo). Ultimately he drew me in several more times. Life shortened because....Rice. Sad tale.
