@MomentInTheSun - You are incredibly talented with eArtwork and design. And I think your “University” print media idea could potentially be very lucrative.

@cookedw - We didn’t always see eye to eye on The Boog, largely because we were on such opposite sides of the Gus fence for so long, but you have become one of my favorite posters and I rarely find myself disagreeing with anything you post nowadays. I also have come to appreciate your passive sarcasm you still implement on the few remaining Gus supporters.

@Fatz Geronimo - The only Gregger who possibly hates Gus more than me. The only poster able to perfectly verbalize the darkest of my Gus thoughts, and then be darker still. This is very high praise.

@ShenaniganZ - I lost in the 1st round of TBBP tournament 2 years ago and while it was discouraging, I couldn’t envision a more worthy adversary to succumb to.
Love you boo

too many to list... collectively, I will say it’s rather interesting how little trolling happens over here - and how such a group of perceived assholes get along so relatively normally and, dare I say, boringly when left alone to do as we wish... so you’re all to be commended for that

all we really want is to waste some time and let off steam... lust over BRUCE and the HYG’s... and hate Gus

it’s rather mind boggling that those universally accepted truths have caused so much trouble in the past... but such is life

@Boytano makes some great air horn melodies. They help me liven-up my boring workplace.
Thanks bruh, the powers that be have done there best to repress my art, but we (me and my airhorns) are prepared to boog.
@Muttonchop, thanks for joining our band of interweb malcontents, it's been a treat to read your musings.

To all the Gregers. None of you are as dumb as Allen Greene.
What's the beef with Greene? All I know is what I've read here and in the media, sorting through the tea leaves and whatnot. He seems to have done well for BRUCE so far and was brought into a fairly untenable situation re: hut hut.

For whatever reason, some posters think he had a choice on Gus and bringing him back and now think he is tied to Gus

He inherited a mess because of Leath. I don't mind the card he played today. He knows the money (a lot of money) will NOT be spent to buy out Gus less than a year after Leath's idiotic move (following a 7-5 season, assuming we beat Libery and lose to UGa and BAma), so he announces this now, which hopefully can help recruiting. Not saying it will, but it gives it a better outlook than waiting to announce he is safe in 3 weeks.

So is Gus gonna sign some stud OLs or stud RBs this class?

And why does he not have a choice?

And why does he not have a choice?

Because of us winning Saturday to get us to a minimum of 7 wins (assuming we at least beat Liberty) and the massive, brand new contract with a ridiculous buyout.

hopefully the Gus staying announcement helps keep Pickens and Pappoe. That's the only reason I can understand Greene publicly saying that today.

Well at least quit saying it's because we can't pay 32 million bucks and we have no choice. Mainly because it's not all due at one time. We've also had a 30 million dollar surplus the last two fiscal years. Our SEC money is growing substantially every year. Check those numbers out. It was a horrible contract but our attorneys didn't let us give a contract to a football coach that we couldn't stand behind. Surely you can agree with that?

It was a contract that they didn't imagine the possibility of having to buyout of year one.

Do I think we have no cash? Absolutely not. Do I think we have negative cash flow? Absolutely not.

Were we going to have to bottom out to have to buyout said contract? Absolutely in my mind. Do I think the narrative of "the money is there from big money guys for the buyout" was way overblown and not entirely true? Yep

When I say no choice, I mean the decision was made to keep Gus after the A&M game. It was a combination of things, with the rather large part being attributed to the money and us not bottoming out.

Do I agree with the choice? Nope. Do I understand the choice? Unfortunately yes. But that isn't ADAG's fault. He didn't give Gus that contract.

Bottomline, is it was going to take Gus sucking worse than 7-5 in order to "justify" spending that type of money to buyout the contract (and assts) and then payout what it would cost to hire a new group of coaches.

But that is on Leathe, not ADAG.

IMO

He said Gus is the boog coach next year.
Oh, ok. I figured there was at least a 70% chance of that if he beat aTm. I hope UGA and UA booty blast us like Jody Foster in 'The Accused', we give Hugh Freeze $1.5M guaranteed for 7 years, keep JB Grimes and whatever the RB coaches name is and play Single Wing for the entire 2019 season as long as BRUCE takes us to the land of milk and honey.
