... to be Thankful for.

Seems Danjel made his way to Sylacauga, AL, to watch them play basketball on Wednesday. This is my first cousin’s youngest. He’s just turned 16, is 6 foot 3, and a big boy. Unfortunately, he had Osgood-Schlatter disease and his leg broke in the growth plate while running in basketball practice a year ago. At this point the ortho is unsure if he will really be able to play again but we are hopeful because the kid loves it. They are easing him back into practice now.

We think Danjel was there to watch Shannon Grant play, a 6’ 9” to 10” Sylacauga senior.

Happy Thanksgiving, Boys.

Yeah, I grew up there.

Are there any bars or restaurants in town there now?? And FTR, I thought you were a DC person....and I guess you may really be. Was surprised when I saw that pic. I’m from Randolph County. We come that way to play BB Comer and to see Clay Central play Sylacauga occasionally.

Yeah there is. There’s Fermenters at the Rex which is owned by a good friend and there’s Harvey’s. Harvey’s also serves food.

I lived in Maryland for 25 years and the last 1.5 years I’ve been keeping a residence in DC and in Sylacauga and go back and forth for work.

My dad graduated from BBC and his mom taught there. I’m a SHS grad, though.
