I don't have any memory loss. Samir sometimes turns the ball over and sometimes makes stupid fouls, but for the most part his biggest negative is that he just doesn't do much. Malik is going to be active. When it's good Malik that helps, but when it's bad Malik that can be a huge problem.
Samir has a better FG%, a better 3 point %, a better FT% and more steals. His OBPM and BPM are both higher than Malik, though that could be because he started longer and therefore was generally playing with a better group.
Malik has more rebounds, less turnovers and more blocks.
The difference to me is that it feels like Samir disappears when he isn't playing well, and Malik magnifies the problem. Maybe an even easier way to say it is that I feel like Samir being on the floor means Chuma can have more shots when we're struggling and Malik means he's going to get less shots. Haha. Though that could end up being true for Danjel as well. I guess I just have more hope in Danjel being a consistent player for us.
