I don’t want to know people in this world that don’t like Bill Walton. The man is a gift was really hoping we’d have him on a call this week.
Oh well I’ll settle for slapping the crap out of Duke in front of Bilas.

A true treasure of humanity.
Yore welcome. We're glad to have you.Saw that earlier. Feels good to have a much better basketball media team than a fellow blue blood like Duke. I've yet to see ours do any embarrassing shit with Aubie.
Thanks to @fairfield35064 for the invite to come over and join the hoops discussion.
Also, compared to the bunker, this place is like a DNC convention. Of course, so was Hitler's Germany, so...There are multiple threads on Rupp's Rafters predicting we pull the upset tomorrow. Feels pretty damned good to have the fans of a blue blood (who was just brutally raped by Duke) talking up our chances to beat them.
I think the worry is that if the game is a track meet, their super stars, esp Zion, will be really tough to stop. Ideally, we need to shoot the ball really well which will allow us to set up our pressure D. If we miss a lot of 3s, they are going to get long boards and run.I just heard Seth Greenberg say on the Gonzaga/Illinois halftime show that he thinks an uptempo game benefits Duke tomorrow night. I generally am on board with his analysis, and think he's one of the smarter guys they have on any sport, but it seems like uptempo and transisiton is what we're built for.
We are usually not a big turnover team, so we shouldn't be creating too many transistion buckets for them. Thoughts, gents?
Jared is going to have to hit those 30 footers he loves so much, so he can open up the lane. I think that might be the key to the game, unless somebody else steps up offensively. We're gonna have to play good D, and not get frustrated if shots aren't dropping. That, plus terrible officiating, almost sunk us today.I think the worry is that if the game is a track meet, their super stars, esp Zion, will be really tough to stop. Denim, I'm glad you've seen the light, bruh
and samir needs to attack the paint and take it to the hoop. not sure what the issue was yesterday but he needs to be back on point today.Jared is going to have to hit those 30 footers he loves so much, so he can open up the lane. wow, may need to screen capture that
10.5 and 168 now.
Heard on radio waves it opened at around 8 or 9. By next year the Boogs will also be overvalued.mybookie and bovada have it Duke -10, o/u 163, Duke moneyline -600, Boogs +450
that looks a little closer to me... maybe things have already moved a few points
I like your optimism but they beat every team so far by 20. We are going to have to play exceptionally well.gang... I’m going too far - but the more numbers I crunch the better I feel about our chances
Duke hasn’t played a team even in the same stratosphere as our Boogs... Kentucky is talented, but they’re not going to pressure Duke the way we did - and I don’t mean like full court press... I just mean the way we stress teams simply due to our style of play- the closest comparison so far is Army, and I mean, come on... I’m sure the cadets have a nice little squad of tryhards, but they’re not HYG
Duke hasn’t faced a team that shoots as many 3’s as we do... gets to the line as much as we do... turns you over the way we do... and can defend the paint as well as we can
their opponents have shot 21.75 3’s a game - we shoot 34.25... that’s a HUGE difference, especially if we get a couple of solid stretches of Boogin’... for comparison they shoot 27.75 3’s a game
their opponents have gotten to the line 18.75 times a game - we avg 23.25 fta/game
Duke avg’s 9.75 steals and 6.75 blocks a game, which allows them to get out in transition... while only allowing 5.5 steals and 3.5 blocks a game which limits their opponents chances to run
what do you know, Boogs avg 10.25 steals and 6.5 blocks a game... while allowing 5.25 steals and 3.25 blocks
all in all, Duke avg’s 10.5 to’s and forces 14.25... Boogs avg 11.75 to’s and force 20
Boogs are getting more loose ball chances to get out and run than Duke
I guess there’s a chance all of those squads have admitted defeat before the game even started and haven’t tried to “beat Duke at their own game”... but they haven’t played anyone capable of even threatening them at their game the way we can... let us Boog early and turn them over a few times and see how that whole “their game” thing works out for everyone
When Fade to Blake talks, people listen.
Ha. And there they go again, claiming @Denim Vest is multiple personas, this time @Harvey Specter.@Denim Vest you are still rustling jimms on rupp. Check out the last post at 3:15 AM. Lulz
