Yeah I saw that The Bruce was organizing that in a thread on the boog. Folks were talking about how cool it was that we have coach like The Bruce that will do whatevs for the betterment of his team and school. Then of course the fuggin Tater ran up ITT and posted something like "Bruce isn't going to be driving the bus, yo!"
Like anyone really thought that. Dudes asshurt over The Bruce is unreal. He can't stand what Pearl and the boys have done this season since he (Tater) told everyone the team is moot and wouldn't be worthy of his time to cover without Danjel and Wiley.

Has anyone brought that up on tbb and jay respond? Matt said he heard Bruce (or Sonny..can't remember) speak last week at an alumni thing and said the basketball coaches trust jgt the most out of all the best writers.

We will have our hands full Saturday. The Weatherspoons are tough to guard in the Hump. Holman and Ado are probably our biggest concerns because they go 6'10" and 6'11" and are mismatches for us. Need to find a way to avoid foul trouble in the post and limiting the Weatherspoon brothers from the perimeter.

Then Bruce said really nice things about everyone that owns one of those sites just bc that’s Bruce. Probably something totally meaningless bc Bruce isn’t gonna shit on anyone. Really doubt Bruce singled out JGT just say how awesome he was. That sounds really weird
Also, something I noticed when looking at State's stats. They're a bad FT shooting and 3-point shooting team. Like last in the conference, in the 300s in the nation bad. This game is almost like a big contrast in styles. They have the bigs and the size advantage, we have the shooting and the pace advantage. If we can speed them up and force them to take a bunch of long, contested shots, we can leave the Hump with a W.

Leggoooooooooooooooo. Scared this could be a let down game because they're looking forward to the showdown in Coleman. But hopefully the Boogs still prevail.
Yeah, I agree. I think they’re similar to OM but don’t shoot the 3 or FTs as well. They will defend well and will give us some troubles in the post on both ends, but I don’t think they can hang with us if we’re playing halfway decent on the offensive end. As some have pointed out, their record might be more of an indication of a weaker schedule, and they’re getting a bit exposed against better competition.
Still, going on the road, and specifically to this place, isn’t easy. We need to show up.
