I’m kinda ashamed how few boog hoops contests I’ve been to over the last few years but I’ll be in fuggin New Orleans if we get there. Would love to go to Chicago that’s a hard maybe.
Yeah that does suck. My friend Carol from tbb decided earlier this week and got a hotel room and drove down from Chattanooga.
I’m going to drive to Chicago. Flights doubled from Tuesday to yesterday out of Bham and I refuse to pay $700 plus for coach much less 1200 - 1600 for first class.
I hope we make it too.
For whatever reason, I feel like if we win Sunday, we go to NOLA. Either way, I figure I’m either gonna make a nice profit off my early ticket purchases or I’m going to have a shit ton of fun watching us win it all.
We need as many AU folks as possible in Chicago - especially if we play Wisky. That will be basically a home game for them. Interested to see what the crowd is like and if it plays a factor for their game in Milwaukee tonight.
That's the only real downside to the potential Wisco matchup is that it will be a road environment. I am sure we will have a good number make the trip, but Chicago has tons of Wisco fans and others will drive in. We will be outnumbered 10+ to 1. Would love to see Colgate or ISU get them this weekend before we have to worry about that.
Waze has me driving it in right under 10 hours which is pretty much impossible, but I drive like a maniac & the wife is probably gonna wanna do this if we win Sunday. Of course we can’t miss NOLA, but we leave the following weekend to see my youngest Boog in Wichita. I just hope I’m worn ass out in a few weeks from all of it if we can make it happen (HYGS gotta do they part of course).
I like to drive and it’s a lot shorter driving there than it is driving to MD, which I’ve done a lot over the years.
Plus, imma have to bring some “stuff” home from Illinois that I can’t bring on a plane. 😁
Edit: I’ve got 3 all day depositions 3/30 - 4/1 all with rough drafts and daily turnaround. If I have 8 hours of sleep between Wednesday morning and leaving for NOLA Friday evening, I will consider it a win! 😜
Back-to-back dailies are never easy, but those three days will more than pay for the total costs of the trips to Chicago and NOLA so I’m actually feeling blessed! Just gonna have to make sure I have those party Addys to take with me. 😁

Yeah, Milwaukee is less than 1.5 hours from Chicago plus they have a train from Milwaukee that runs fairly often. I think 10+ to 1 is pretty spot on. Hopefully they will get taken out.
Annoying that Boog social media can’t share game clips because of the corrupt NCAA
Yeah sometimes it’s better to drive back from Colorado as far as it is.
Damn girl been liking your posts for awhile & you sound like a party. We need make sure we sit a long way apart at any of these game cause I’m in self imposed rehab currently…..
