I’m getting pumped up for this game at the Clam! Should be a good one. I’m going to pick my Cats over Bruce’s HYG’s in a close one. I feel like our PG is getting into a nasty zone right now, and I can see some real improvement in two of our bigs, Nick and EJ! Think we match up really well with the Cats. 5 in particular if that stiff Reid Travis is in there. He get bullied on both ends by Austin. Can’t protect the rim. Maybe could get a few on Ant but he’d be lost on D.

Only a matter of time before elite teen Ashton Hagans is an NBA star but I’ll take Jared at this stage and likely through the year.

K Johnson at the 3 is the only guy I’d take as a starter. I don’t know a ton about his game but he’s a presumed lotto pick.

The matchup I’m most excited about is at the 4. I’m sure Cat Nation thinks they have the edge there but they would be wrong. VERY wrong. Dr C has PJ Washington outclassed in all phases of the game but he needs to bring that swag.

I’ll take our bench over theirs all day long particularly at the Clam.

for you - and our other esteemed WILDCATS - I’ve barely watched you guys since that Seton Hall debacle cost me a drunkenly crafted, super genius, billion team money line parlay... but from box score surfing, seems you guys are hellacious defensively but still struggling to find an offensive identity

only, to read those deranged imbeciles on Rupps Rafters - they say the exact opposite... and talk as if you guys will want to try to speed us up and run with us (terrible idea, btw) but have trouble defending the 3 (again, not a good idea to speed us up if that’s the case)

my thinking is, you guys should dirty up the game - make it ugly (shouldn’t be difficult for Travis and Herro) - and try to win a rockfight in the 60’s... not many teams are going to beat us playing in the 80’s at the Clam... we just shoot too well at home
