Out of the gate he was a Gun Slinger but had a good Oline and NFL receivers and Al Borges was his QB corch. His first game vs GA Tech he had so much promise. He balled out with reckless abandon and showed signs of dickheat. He did have 3 ints but I wasn't worried. Was his first start and was inexperienced. Cox to me went downhill every year after 2005. The talent around him became less and less and his injuries piled up. By 2007 he was average at best. 2005 was his absolute pinnacle.
Jarrett StAUdham looks very similar to Cox in appearance. But unlike Cox, he doesn't have the talent let alone corching, however, IMO he is nowhere close to Cox right now for other reasons. He may have a stronger arm or be a tad faster but Brandon at least had swag in 2005. The entire stadium at one point was screaming throw it to the wide open guy. It took him like 4 seconds to find him. It seems like he doesn't know the offense or something. It is just odd. Guys were open and it seems like he was still searching and holding on to the ball, etc.
Just sharing thoughts. 2007 Cox was very average. I might take him right now over JS.
