-Mizzou is absolute trash
-We forced some TOs and ran some Wildcat TDs. I'm sure that will work against the good teams.
-Pettway didn't play. Good idea getting him hurt against Mercer.
-Got the young stud MALIK in there. Tried to get him kilt on runs instead of working the pass game.

Squad is still garbage. BASKETBALL season is a week closer though.

All this is true.

There are some positive, even if I tend to be of the opinion it won't matter because Gus. Stidham has gotten better every week since Clemson. He's clock is getting closer and closer to being what it needs to be. The offensive calls were not nearly as bad as they've been. It actually came close to making sense most of the time. And you can see that Chip is getting much more control than he had previous. I'm just not sure he's any good so that may not really help vs good teams.

If we lose to either MSU or LSU its a massive disappointment because those teams are either lacking talent or coached by walking garbage. Neither is good. We'll probably lose to both since we should beat both.

Yeah. Baby Kam is the team's leading rusher after 4 games despite not playing a down against Clemson or Mercer. I'm not sure why he gets so few opportunities

I will say that we used the Baylor RPO stack WR and I love that play. Had Kyle not needlessly grabbed cloth, it's still a TD and I could add one play to the total number of "new" plays that I like. It does only bring the total to one.

Loved seeing that. One of my favorite things Baylor had been doing. Also the RB passing game has been better than what we were used to. Hell KAM caught quite a few balls last week and maybe the week before as a check down guy. I didn't know big daddy had hands.

I do think the plays are all Chip now, or at least 90% Chip and he's calling them. I think Gus was influencing and still will influence "who" plays the most. Part of me thinks he's doing it just to troll @Denim Vest

I'm not going to be on any kind of Gus Bus even if we beat MSU and LSU. Just to get me to believe we have a chance to beat UGA or Bama we'd have to look really sharp and sound in all phases vs LSU/MSU and win pretty comfortably. Those are not great teams. They may not even be able to be called "good" by the time the seasons over. There may not be a "prove it" game on the roster till UGA.
