Herron is using the illness as an excuse now trying to save face I guess? Really weird how the family and their “voices” have handled all this. I wish him well regardless but I also really wish he wanted to boog one more year!

Yeah me three. But if I had to make up a lie/excuse, I be damn if I'd us my mom being sick as the one I rode with. But either way, I'm kinda glad he's hitting the road. Going into the home stretch of the season you could see a change in him and his play. He kinda bailed on the team aspect of what made AU a great team through most of the season and went to a me first type player.
I think we all noticed how he would decide he was not going to pass the ball no matter what and because of that he would put up some gawd awful shots. He really hurt the team imho by doing that. I remember several games where Bryce was visibly upset because Herron put up a prayer shot instead of passing it to a wide ass open brown or baby J. I also think his beef with other players is the reason AU fizzled out down the stretch and through the SEC tourney last season.
So, does this mean we dont get EJ Montgomery?
