JMU FBS Pledge

Hey everyone, I am working with several JMU fans in promoting a non-binding JMU to FBS pledge drive and would hope, if you are a supporter of FBS, pledge and support JMU if they were to move to FBS. This is an independent pledge that once completed would be handed over to JMU as a means of support. The goal is to raise $7 million worth of pledges each year for a period of 5 years. Thus far, in just a couple of days, we have raised over $46,000. I can't financially support something I don't believe in. The world is full of Middle Tennessee States, Georgia States and Louisiana-Monroes. Those schools will never be able to play for all the marbles and have crappy lower tier bowl games to look forward to at the end of what would be considered very successful years for them. Why put 35-million toward a down payment on a Popeye's Bowl appearance?

At least now the Dukes have a true championship to aim for. I don't think I would mess that up by trying to be something we're not.
