Combine started today or yesterday and we have some decent Boog prospects there this year

Interested to see KJ’s 40 time and also how Kam Petty does as well.

Let’s keep all this news and discussion consolidated here until after the NFL Draft

TIA

Have the rules been updated stating that OT is no longer needed?

TIA

Kam Petty with 22 bench reps. Kinda thought he’d do more. Braden Smith with a whopping 35 reps. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him sneak into the late 1st early 2nd discussion

Just Saw Kerryon had 11 reps at the combine on bench. Tied for worst among participants. Barkley and Chubb both had 29. Skrong.

I honestly don’t know why benchpress is something they still wanna see at the combine though. You can be strong and not be good at benching.

Rice only had 135 lbs in his garage weight room.

22 isn’t terrible, for a guy that “hurt his shoulder” vs Arky. But we all thought that was BS. 35 is pretty dam impressive.

11 reps is terrible.

You can have strong legs and be weak on bench. But it is likely if you are weak on bench you are weak in the rest of your upper body as well. Your pecs are a huge muscle. If you ignore them what else do you ignore?

11 is fvcking terrible for a RB. No wonder he couldn't stay healthy.

Hold on, I forgot he too had a bad injury. 11 reps with a hurt shoulder or lack of ability to work out hard because of the should strain is more understandable.

Bo Scarborough with 14 reps

Kerryon doing bench press when his last football activity was injured is good for his stock [positive spin]

Either way, agility drills and interviews and for Kerryon medical is most important for him

I know it makes me a bad Boog, but I stop caring about how well they do the second they play their last snap for AU.

However, I will immediately pull for the NBA team that drafts the first Boog in 15+ years
I really don’t care how they do in the league. I just like to think of myself as an amateur scout so I like to try and predict how they’ll be drafted and do in the league. That’s really it.

Like I’m glad Dee Ford finally came good bc I adamantly thought he’d be a success in the league

Orlando Brown 5.86 unofficial 40

Who told him he needed to run?

Orlando Brown:

14 reps of 225
5.86 40 yard (5th slowest in the combine since 2003)
19 inch vertical
And he got yelled at by the coaches for loafing (according to reports)

Barkley is a beast

Kerryon didn't run the 40, which was something smart that his team must have decided.

He's not going to improve his stock with it.

Ronald Jones (consensus top 4 RB in the draft) did not run either.

Kerryon Johnson with a 40" vertical and 10'06" broad jump

Top 3 RB Broad Jumps - Bo Scarbrough - 10'9" Nick Chubb - 10'8" Kerryon Johnson - 10'6" The numbers that were out weren't official obviously

But by that same point, why do bench?

I supposed that since his last injury was his shoulder, just doing double digit reps proves at a minimum that its healthy enough to do....11 reps with his shoulder injury.

I don't know. The draft is a massive beast of misinformation, politics, and psych stuff.

His on-field stuff looks good. He's a very talented guy in the intermediate.
