That win took a lot out of me yesterday. The though of another year of Gus has completely demoralized me fam.

I want to beat UGA or get crushed by them. I can’t stand the thought of a close loss that locks Gus in. Either get a W or roll over and let them humiliate us.
I don’t think UGA is as good as folks make them out to be. I fully expect us to be leading late into the game and fold down the stretch.

I didn’t watch any of the BAMA game last night, but my biggest BAMA friends are legit concerned about the boogs beating them... they’re ridiculously banged up according to my friends and don’t have a lot of confidence in the offense to carry them against our defense...
with anyone other than Gus we’d be 8-1 right now and I’d feel great about the next 3 weeks... but we don’t have anyone else - we have Gus... and I have no idea how to feel... the talent is still there, and with yesterday’s win it’s time to root for the team and hope they completely ruin UGA and BAMA’s season, future Gus consequences be damned
but I have less than zero faith it will happen, so this is the most Gus inspired limbo I’ve ever felt

Gang, I'm gonna be doing a statistical breakdown later this week that should help everyone who is concerned we might not end up going 8-5. I'll be laughing at you for thinking we might do better, but I think you'll feel better when I'm done. The DEFENSE is really Gus' only chance here, the offense looks decent or better at first passing glance but there's some weaknesses there that have been covered up by playing a really crappy schedule to date. Take heart, Gus will be back next year either way but he's not going to do any better than 8-5. The wheels are in motion though, we'll only have one more season of not GAF about hut hut and then we might have brighter days ahead.

I’ve deluded my brain into believing that, if given the opportunity, Gus will bolt to Arkansas regardless of the outcome of this season. It just makes so much sense from a Gus standpoint.
This is where my hopes lie as well. I'm unsure what outcome(s) will increase the likelihood of Gus bolting to Arkansas, which is making life confusing and uncomfortable right now, but what a beautiful twist of fate after the years of Tubbs' duck hunting trips. It's high time those trips paid dividends.
Think about Gus’ record against top teams. Then think about what it’d take to run the table. Wins against UGA, Bama, Uga again. Then two top four teams. 5 consecutive wins against top 5 teams. Dream if you want, but it’s not happening

I think he wants out of AU and he knows this could be his only chance to get his dream job of going back home and leading the Razorbacks. Arkansas would be able to sell their fans on him. This is the second time, as the article notes, that Paul has talked about this. Either AU is feeding Paul some nuggets or Gus’ camp is feeding him. Either way, I think the relationship btw Gus and AU has clearly gone bad and both want to cut ties.
its beatable b/c Hurts in the pocket is not consistently good enough to beat you, but keeping him there and stopping their run game is really tough. Sounds basic, but they have beasts everywhere so you can't take a single play off or go braindead for single snap or it's fight song time.
They just overwhelm you with talent. It's everywhere. If their lines can't just lean on you, the 5 star WR will make a few huge plays. If it's not him some 5 star LB will force an insane turnover. Or a 5 star RB who is 3rd on the depth chart will house a screen pass. Or when you've escaped all that, some 5 star will drop back in punt return and go 80 yards. It's a constant assault of talent coming at you in waves. You have to play great ball just to have a chance.

I didn't watch one play of the game this past weekend but I'll be at the game this weekend. Gus will be at Auburn next year no matter the outcome of the uga and bama game. I think Arky give Bert one more year.
