Very interesting. I thought it was a foregone conclusion that AUSTIN was involved. I assume we're looking at DANJEL and MUSTAPHA now, maybe? Or maybe he was referring to a player that has yet to enroll? Can't wait to see who practices today.

I love @jhead!Thoughts, @Denim Vest?
Yep. And the Wileys don't seem like they would be hurting financially so bad as to risk dragging their child's name through the mud for a paltry 11k...It makes sense to me that Austin wouldn't be involved for no other reason than I think his mom has been around the basketball scene long enough to not fall for CP's bullshit. Plus I'm not so sure CP would have tried to rip her off.
I mean, I'll believe it when I see it, but some folks over in boogville are making some compelling arguments that one or neither are involved. Likely just boogs being naive, but I'm choosing to believe whatever spins this in the most positive light at this point. So there's a chance that Mustapha wasn't involved either? Oh my heavens. Things could really be looking up
Yeah that seems to point directly to Austin, but the same player is referenced as having a stepdad which Austin doesn't have. According to what is being posted in boogville, anyway. I haven't really read everything and am just going on what's being posted over there.I thought one of the "AU" players got ruled out when the Sexton revelations came out? I thought it was said that he was the player coming in with 1.5 to play. I know that I read that somewhere.
Yeah, I thought I read something where chuck was on record talking about kid that was "the number 9 prospect int he country" and "enrolling in January" and would be at auburn for "1 and a half seasons." Sounded like Austin to me. Maybe he was talking about EJ. I always thought it was weird if Austin's family took money though. Everything I've read and heard about them indicated that they had his future well thought out and mapped. Just seems like they wouldn't even attempt to jeopardize that for 9k.I thought one of the "AU" players got ruled out when the Sexton revelations came out? Also there was talk about a meeting with a current player on Dec 12 in New York and Austin didn't sign until Dec 16 and he wasn't in New York.I thought one of the "AU" players got ruled out when the Sexton revelations came out? Step-Dad was referenced with Player-1. Player-1 was also on the team when we travelled to NYC. That is why Player-1 is most likely Danjel. The complaint also says that Chuck met with Player-1's mom weekly. That would be pretty tough if Player-1 is Mustapha, considering his mom is in Connecticut.Yeah that seems to point directly to Austin, but the same player is referenced as having a stepdad which Austin doesn't have. Yeah, like I said, I haven't really delved into it too much. Just going on what @jhead and others have stated. Probably just wishful thinking on my part.Step-Dad was referenced with Player-1. There are a lot of references to AUSTIN in the complaint. But, when Chuck is making those references, the complaint never says that the references are for "Player-2." Even though Austin is clearly being talked about, it's not a guarantee that he did anything. Could've just been Chuck talking up the talent he's bringing in, in order to get more cash. Just because Chuck was bragging on Austin doesn;t mean Austin participated in the scheme.Yeah, I thought I read something where chuck was on record talking about kid that was "the number 9 prospect int he country" and "enrolling in January" and would be at auburn for "1 and a half seasons." Damn. It's not that hard to bitch slap @captAUmerica21 but that was nicely done.
The 1.5 year thing pointed directly to Austin, but it could easily be Montgomery and I never even considered that before now...
He’s not on track to graduate early now - but it’s becoming a growing trend, and he was ranked top 10 on some services this time last year... it was definitely discussed as a possibility at some point - albeit a remote one...
it also makes more sense that he would be involved than Austin - knowing little about Montgomery - but knowing what we know about Austin...
It also makes sense that Montgomery decommitted so quickly...
Montgomery’s mom being involved could easily be explained by the fact his sister was already at Auburn, so the parents would have just as much reason to be in Auburn and around Chuck as Vickie would...
Gang - that’s what I’m choosing to believe for now...
BRUCE knew nothing...
Mustapha and Austin aren’t involved...
this will get so large the NCAA can’t punish everyone...
we still goin’ dancing...
the only question now is whether Danjel gets the boot or serves a suspension and joins the team for SEC play...
now it’s time to put this basketball negativity behind us and use all our energy to pull against Gus this weekend...
Montgomery wasn't on the team yet. It clearly states Mother-2 and PLAYER-2 went to Chuck's house. It was a Player on the team, not a croot, unless the complaint is just referring to all potential playas as Player-X...
I am gonna stick with it being Austin and Danjel, although I do wonder what the hell Austin's parents were thinking if it truly is him.
Yes. If I was his tronz coach, Id encourage him to do a lot of things differently. But I've done tons of dumb shit on the internet, so I'm not gonna lecture anyoneNo offense to him, but he's not even close to being an A List poster. JMO, which means jack, but I think I know a witty/clevour poster when I see one.
I'm pretty sure Sexton was the player being referred to in the part where the bama coach was implicated as Coach-X or whatever.I think it’s using “player” as a catch all term...
from the ESPN article in the other thread:
The player, identified as "Player-10" and described as a top recruit in the complaint, is believed to be Brian Bowen, a five-star guard/forward from La Porte, Indiana, who committed to Louisville on June 5.
so they used “player” to refer to anyone directly involved... I need to go back and see if it referred to Collin Sexton as “player x” or just mentioned the father of an incoming freshman

He definitely was - I just don’t know how that part was phrased... in the BAMA Online article I read it never mentioned Player X... it was phrased as “the father of an incoming freshman”... what I was getting at is - Sexton may have never been directly referenced, just his dad... I haven’t had time to go back through and look at the NCAA docs yet
I think that's what I was reading. Makes sense. In the Chuck complaint, they reference "Father-1" in the meeting at the restaurant in ATL but never refer to the recruit as "Player-X." They just say: "the father of a highly regarded incoming freshman basketball player at Staff Member-1's university."
In about 10 minutes, I believe. Gonna have to head on over to boogville to try and catch barner's quick notes. Probably nothing more than a bunch of coach speak and 'no comments' as I'm sure they'll handcuff Bruce's responses...What time is Bruce addressing the media today?
Yep. That and a bunch of 'no comments.' About what I expected. All players will be at practice today per Bruce

He be trolling, bruh. Every post he makes is an attempt at trolling. He also knows that sometimes, some people get trolled by not replying. He doesn't validate their response. This can also troll others because they then get hysterical on one side or the other. I'm not taking up for the kid, but I've known him to some degree long enough to understand how he operates. The weird or funny thing is @captAUmerica21 refuses to acknowledge JHEAD's post in that thread.
