He's saying Stidham can't be considered bad because has 190 yards and 90% completions against Mercer.
His logic is sound in theory. Stidham isn't bad, some just lost there minds salivating over him.
Because his response to me saying the mods are clowns for buying into the hype was, "bless your heart."
I mean. He's having a good game but it's mercer...he should be doing this against them. They lost to wafford last week.

This is his 6th start in his career. I'm not sure why he was placed on a pedestal but it was unwarranted. Hard to fault the kid when you built up the expectations based on a spotty resume and evidence of spending more time jet-setting than focusing on the game.
He's talented. With a good OL and better coaching he'd probably have a pretty good season somewhere else.
I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying that he hasn't had a good season so far and a game against mercer isn't gonna change that.
TBB and TOOS really built up his legend. Gus just rode the goodwill. Gus had no idea how good he was or not because the man has no clue how to evaluate a QB.
