I finished their "giant burger" or whatever the challenge was called back in the day, circa 2003. Didn't feel right for a couple of days.
Let’s try to keep the McDonalds, BK, and Sonics of the world out of this one. Only interested in things you can’t find in every little hick town in Alabama.
Also- if you don’t eat fast food, that’s cool, but I don’t need to hear about it.
My favorite new spot is Fazoli’s Italian joint out here in Tejas. It’s really pleasing to my Scottish palette for some reason...
I didn’t know that. Will have to try it out.We have one in Lee Branch (shopping center off 280 close to Greystone). It is excellent.
Big fan of that place if I want to go food.Anyone ever have Cowboy Rotisserie Chicken? It is DELISH!!
I didn’t know that. Will have to try it out.
We will next week. Sorry, I’m a workaholic and haven’t had time. How about an sec tournament game? I don’t believe you ever PMd me your number.Thought you wanted to Grab a beer.
That would be a good movie idea. Maybe during the trip everything goes wrong and when you finally get there you pig out on Krystal’s and Chili Cheese Pups.Im in Virginia. We do NOT have Krystal here. The nearest Krystal is on I-85 in South Carolina (6 hours) away. I know this because I have DRIVEN IT specifically to get 50 double Krystal Cheeseburgers. This is NOT something I have dont often but when you are deprived of Krystal and only have nasty White Castle around sometimes you have to make sacrifices.
McDonalds Signature Sandwiches are actually pretty good. SO THERE
Is it McRib time?McDonalds Signature Sandwiches are actually pretty good. SO THERE
I actually (poor) had a coupon that said B1G1 Signature BURGERS, not sandwiches, and I got the pico guac burger, and it wildly exceeded my expectations. I had had it on the chicken sammy, and the burger was actually better. (maybe the burger patty was just better than the dried out chicken). That and the bacon BBQ (tad too much Q sauce IMO, but I like my condiments on the spare side)Yes the grilled chicken Pico guacamole is tasty.
Tell me about Raisin Cain’s. I just assumed it was your standard chicken joint. What sets it apart?
I haven’t been to Taco Bell in a year and I’m gonna pig out there soon. Long time coming. Maybe Masters Sunday
It triggers my heartburn/reflux so bad that I can’t eat there without making proper preparations for a couple of days before. I love that shit, though.I haven’t been to Taco Bell in a year and I’m gonna pig out there soon. Long time coming. Maybe Masters Sunday
You both have excellent taste, imnsho.Definitely doesn’t fit your criteria, but I eat Zaxby’s probably 3 times per week. The wife could live on a strict diet of Taco Bell. Everything fast food wise in Auburn is pretty standard stuff. Nothing really unique as far as that goes around here.
Delicious (relatively speaking) food.Somebody tell me about Chipotle. There’s one about a 1/4 mile from me at the moment, but I had it pegged as a little fancier Moe’s and I’m not a Moe’s fan..
Delicious (relatively speaking) food.
Pro tip: Get a bowl with whatever you want, ask for chips, and now you have loaded nachos (loaded nachos isn’t on their menu).

It’s great imo.Anyone try BurgerFi? I think there's a spot near AU campus somewhere? How is it?
not quite fast food, but Fultondale is getting a Shoney's and I am pumped. GOAT of breakfast buffets
It’s addicting.Currently hooked on the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich meal at Zaxby's
For dinners, I like to go with 10 Traditional Wings (Tongue Torch), fries with extra seasoning, two Zax sauces, and a large sweet tea. But the kickin chicken is def a favorite of mine to swing through the drive-thru for lunch and take back to the office. Love the cheese bites as well.Currently hooked on the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich meal at Zaxby's
Del Taco and El Pollo Loco were my favs when I lived in San Diego. Was the tits McGhee. For actual fast food (excluding those without a Drive thru), Zaxby's, CFA, Taco Bell, Del Taco, Arby's, and Wendy's are probably my favorites.
