Baylor eked out a dub last night. Thought they’d be our only real competition come March but they obviously aren’t that great. Pretty much anything can happen in the tourney but as much as it pains me Kentucky looks like the only squad that might be close to our level.
Agree, on a neutral court seems close to a coin toss. WOOD still take the HYGs and a deep bench vs the mild katz sporting a 7 man rotation and most of their stars playing heavy minutes most of the season not to mention BRUCE could probably say something completely innocuous and borderline complimentary out KY and Cal would become completely unhinged...what a site to see when the broke ass blu nation caint afford tickets to see their squad.

Bams v Cats today. May have to actually pull for the Bams but never hurts my feelings if they lose. Duke v UNC kinda lost its luster ever since BRUCE destroyed UNCs program. Baylor v KU another good one could be a team we dismantle in the E8 or F4.
I’ll be pulling for the bams just to hear the excuses from Cal.

Sheesh they really blew their wad keeping it within 20 against us. Shame cause they could have won just shooting like 25% from 3.
My LBS would like to know how many games bama needs to lose to drop out of the tourney. Obviously those 3 big wins are going to carry them a long way, but they also can’t lose out. What’s the magic number?
The metrics say they’re basically already in but they probably need to get to 17 wins. 18 would be a lock. So 3-6 the rest of the way or worse could push them out I’d say.
They are at 14-9 right now with at UK, at Ole Miss, at Vandy, and at LSU. Arkie, MSU, USCe and TA&M at home. Then a chance to win a game in the SECT. They are probably in solidly as an 8-9 and will get matched up in the West Braxket with UCLA as their 1 if they finish .500 or better. If they finish with 14-15 losses it could be dicey, but will ultimately screw a solid Mid Major out of a deserving spot.
I kind of figured it was a long shot, but I’ll be hoping for an epic disaster.
UCLA is off the one line after that terrible loss they took yesterday.
They have so many big wins, they are a lock if they finish 8-10 in SEC play. Could even make it at 7-11 given that the SEC is the best conference this year and the ACC is so atrocious they won't get many bids.
For the moment for sure. I should've said "if" UCLA was a 1 in the W or MW. I was thinking about the committee thought process IF UCLA landed there. Lots of time for them to get back. And everybody but the Zags(and AU) are losing games.
Crazy but the same would've been said in places if AU had lost to Mizzou or UGA. Most of our fans can't realize it wouldn't have been the end of the world. Of course not losing is more fun.
They are certainly a good team, but we beat them and have a drastically better resume.

Where is he getting the idea they have a top 3 SOS in the country? Hate to break it to you CAL, but per KP, UK's SOS at present is 33 while Auburn's is 27.
