possibily taking Ark job. They were laughing at how delusional their fanbase is regarding their chances at bringing Beep Bop back home. I could not help but chime in and ask if that would make them happy. They were speechless when I told them I would gladly contribute to his buyout if they would take him. They seemed to think he would be the savior and said he would lock down the state. I asked what is there to lock down in Arky? Crickets.

Anywho, I have not kept up much lately, but does anyone really think the Boogs will let Beep Bop walk away from this monster of a program he has built over the last week? I think after we beat bama he will get a raise and extension and we will be stuck with him forever. Guess it is time to fight to get my seat back on the bus.

I know its a week early, but...

Boogs - 27
bams - 24

Bring on the dawgies for a 2nd butt pounding. WDE!

Well, to be fair, I think everyone here and on the boog board has said since the summer that if Gus didn't win Amen Corner, he should be fired, meaning that if he did in fact win Amen Corner, he's to be retained. So, if he does in fact beat bama, he would have won Amen Corner and is in good graces. I don't have a problem with that because in order to do that, and he's showing a little promise here already, it means that he's learned the signifigance and importance of winning these two particular games and that the Arky game isn't our super bowl (despite his own personal feelings about that game, those people, and that god-forsaken state). So, if Gus can prove that he won't revert back to his mental hadicappedness that just has to screw everything up and sideline is coaches during the middle of a game, I'm good with him staying. But should he revert at any point next year, fire him on the spot.

Reading all the posts on the boog about the situation has brought to light that Rich McGlynn is apparently the biggest fv**stick in the world. Dude needs to GFH.
I think I've mentioned this before, but RM lives in my neighborhood. I know people that know him personally (away from his job), and no one that I know likes him in the least.

If he beats UA then I have no problem with him having the opportunity to work out his contract. That would be a very good season, something he's not produced the previous 3. I would extend his contract 1 season with an SEC Championship, but not his buyout. If he didn't want to sign such an extension then he can stick with the contract he has.
