just read Papa Bears thread over on the Boog about them losing their mom and didn't see it here. Please pray for them. If that's not your thing just keep them in your thoughts.

To my bruvuhs: @FormerlyKnownAsSOLLYand @ribs I am so so sorry my brothers. I can't imagine the pain and weight of such loss. Please know that you, your mom and your entire family will be in my family and my thoughts and prayers. Y'all have a lot of AU brothers and sisters sending up prayers and we all will continue to do so.

Love ya bros!

This time last year, my Mom was in the hospital. She was in VERY bad shape & had two 21 day stints in that place she hated so bad. This year, she had me & my fam, both my brothers & theirs, PLUS my wife's fam, for a total of about 18 peeps. She did it ALL last Saturday. The turkey, ham, her famous dressing & about 10 other sides. She went all in as much as she has since we lost Dad in 2011. And last night, my brother came home & found her "sleeping". As crass as it sounds, this year was very much better than last year. Last year we had nothing but sorrow. This year we had Christmas. It's like she put everything she had into that last big round up, and just chose in her mind to go on 'home". I'm at peace with it. Thanks to all concerned.

Thanks Jimmy
We gone get through this. Circle of Life & all. Momma was FULL BOOG. Taught first grade for 33 years, and you had to sing the Boog fight song to advance to 2nd grade. I really appreciate all the responses, but wouldn't change a damn thing about anything.
BLESSED, is the word, and everyone uses that word in their own vernacular, but it's ALL good

Praying for you, Ribs and your families, Solly.
I am very sorry. I know it is hard to say goodbye.
Time goes by way too fast.

You have some great memories of a fine Mom and Grandmother to all of her grandchildren.

You have told me about the time she met your Dad and that was very special. I got the building wrong but I was close. They lived only 25 miles from each other growing up and met at API. That is a great story.

Again, my thoughts and prayers for you, Ribs, and your family.

Papa Bear
