OT: Somebody invite this dude to The GREG...

We don't take into consideration whether or not we feel good about them, but rather which are the biggest games. We both have jobs, so we have a limited amount of time to record AND have to get them out on Monday - so we hit the high notes.

Now, having said that, we don't do national games for teams we haven't watched play extensively. We don't talk about teams we know little about. There are times when our predictions deviate from the model and we have to be able to speak to why. And fans of teams will find every single thing you said that's even slightly wrong so you HAVE to know their team well.

In awful weeks (like the upcoming week 8), we may even venture outside the SEC (we'll be doing USC/ND). Right now, Auburn, UGA, and Bama fan bases are fully engaged and driving views/traffic. But the LSU/UF game last week was a complete traffic and viewer engagement turd in the punch bowl.
Cool. Thanks for the response. I'm in an SEC Pick'em league where a bunch of friends buy in at the beginning of the year and pick each week. I was gonna compare my picks and the spreads we use to yall's predictions. I'll check out the games yall pick at least, will be interesting to compare. Wouldn't mind having hte upper hand on a couple games a week anyway. Thanks for the response. I'm gonna check out your site for sure.

Also, if the numbers tell you GA will beat AU, please just make one that lies so I don't have to throw in the towel this early. TIA bruh

You don't need the Boog Bored. All you need is GREG.

I have found a suitable avatar for you. James Madison is on the $5000 bill, which is appropriate, because that's what I intend to wager based on your predictions.

I LIKE it!!

Interesting that both of you ask, and rather timely as well. LSU is a team that has explosive plays, but is highly (highly is an understatement) inefficient in their scoring relative to yardage.

LSU had 7 yards per play against Troy and managed 21 points. That's unbelievably bad. (Auburn had 6.6 YPP against Mizzou and scored 1.2 billion points) We go into more detail in LSU/UF preview than we did in the Auburn one. Here it is if you're at all interested:

By chance do you guys have anything in the way of an outline for your model?

I just need to know if you guys were ever on the blazer board and when you are going to do a model for the Fighting Bill Clarks?

Thanks for joining us, @secfans . We appreciate intelligent football talk, even if, and in some cases especially, if it doesn't match what we want it too. Most of us on this bourde like having our biases challenged, and be made to think about things in different ways. It's what separates us from the boogs on teh bunker.

We will definitely do that. I can't tell you how many Bama fans we pissed off last year by pointing out Jalen Hurts' passing issues. I think we've angered every fanbase in the SEC equally. But we also pissed off Clemson, Ohio St, Penn St, USC.

The funny thing is, though, the ones who come back AFTER they heard things they didn't like about their team are the ones that drive the best discussion. These aren't the conversations that happen on national radio or regional sports talk shows - and that's why I think lots of people are tuning out and finding podcasts like ours or Podcast Ain't Played Nobody.

@secfan You should consider getting @hunter48 on your podcast to discuss 80 and 90 pound peewee football. Dude can tell you the difference between trips and twins like nobodies business. Don't get me started on his alignment knowledge of Zero Shade compared to a 3 technique. MFer knows the difference between A gap and B gap better than anyone!
