I lol every time that I hear he once claimed to be an AU student athlete. It's so very Rice and I wish I was there to witness it. Luckily, he rehashed the very same concept for us on the bunker when he claimed to be a coach. That made the bus ride from my hotel to the magic kingdom a truly special Disney moment
I think @ShenaniganZ kept some of the other ones I made and he made a few of his own. These are the only ones I have.

Threads like this one make me question my life choices. I'm currently in a state of deep reflection, attempting to determine whether I can continue justifying allowing work and personal life to interfere with internetting.
I really really thought that he was purposely joking regarding his coaching... I should have known better. He isn't the first person that I've met that claimed to be a student-athlete for being on the club team of some obscure sport. Really grasping at straws when that is the case. He knew that club sports don't count.
Even with all of the dumb stuff that he posts on a regular basis... I still like the guy for whatever reason. He provides me entertainment, and it is amazing how he can somehow always be positive. But man he uses the most roundabout "logic" you will ever see. Breathtaking sometimes.
He is currently mocking everyone who would choose Brohm over Les for Auburn's next head coach.
Haven't checked out that thread. Let me guess... "Les is the only proven coach available that has won in the SEC..." or something along those lines, right?
Pretty much. He started this the other day and a thread got started today about an article pumping up Brohm big time.
The other day it was pretty much, "the last couple of years don't matter....if he hires the right guy....etc"
He's certainly dumb enough to work in the AU AD.
I don't necessarily dislike Les, but I don't necessarily think he is better than the other coaches that have upside like Brohm. Personally, I am very intrigued by Gundy.
He probably thinks Kirk Ferentz would be a good hire

I never mind Rice's opinions. It's just the total inconsistency in the way he formulated them is what's so maddening. And then you call him out on it, and he goes through some crazy mental gymnastics to ineffectively show how's he not contradicting himself. He's just so bizarre

This is what's so weird to me. He was yammering about Chip Lindsey and RPOs and how that's the future of CFB this offseason. That's a vastly inexperienced coach running a passing/spread concept offense. And now he apparently thinks an old man running a completely outdated offense is gonna save Auburn. So weird
