99% of college strength coaches are huge cheeseballs. Hell the most noted one is Cochran and he's as cheesy as they come. He's good, but he's also a total dolt just like the rest of them. Something about that game. Personal trainers tend to be a bit cheesy, but the strength coaches are like personal trainers on a mix of meth and pure adrenaline. They just can't help themselves.
I'm not a Russel fan simply because Gus brought him in to do HUNH stuff and condition based on that philosophy but now we don't really go fast so what's the damn point?
