Maeve is like Neo.... she is freaking amazing. I hope she lives. She is by far my favorite.
The Ghost Indian, I loved the story. I loved his talk with Ford. Some brilliant stuff here. Ford must have been so damn proud after that chat.
Next week will be awesome I am sure. Well, atleast hopeful.

They were kind of setting up William to have a redemption arc in this season and then he goes and kills his daughter and a bunch of other real people.
Really hope the finale is cool but I'm guessing the pay off is going to be dissapointing. Curious to see how they set the third season. It's also just getting so weird with Ford being Bernard's naughty devil on his shoulder kind of thing

Not sure I can take too much more of this show. Too many time lines. And now all sorts of different realities. It's like they're just trying to find more ways to fugg with the viewer instead of actually building characters and stories.
Tons of grievences with that episode but i'm not gonna bore everyone with them. Not a big fan though of how Dolores can use her mind over matter and just consume bullets like nothing but Maeve, who's literally mind fugging like 100 tronz bots, can't do the same thing. THe maeve story line was totally predictable but at least it had some closure. Not sure why Sizemore felt the need to actually sacrifice himself for a bunch of bots that he doesn't even ever really interact with. Was totally out of left field and not sure he had developed that amount of courage or sympathy yet

Still mulling everything over but leaning toward being pissed at the show atm. Just too much going on to even attempt to have clarity on anything for me.
I feel like one of the central conflicts of the whole damn show is Ford and the MIB’s rivalry, but yet, we’re two seasons in and we really have no idea why it exists. It’s really bizarre honestly. Like why the hell is Ford so obsessed with him that he wants to keep “playing games” with him. For a show that loves flashbacks, it seems like they could easily flesh this out and it would add so much more to both characters
Maybe I missed what you are referring to but I thought their issues were
MIB - hates Ford because he blames Ford for giving him a taste of his true nature. Just like some addicts hate those who introduce them to drugs. He needs the park but hates it so much because what he loves disgusts him. He hates Ford because Ford knows who and what he is. He hates Ford because the world is not real enough. He also hates Ford because he doesn’t control Ford.
Ford - I never really got the feeling he had that much invested in the conflict. He is more interested in playing God. He realizes William represents the money and utilizes it. He uses and temps Williams carnal nature to move his own plans into position. In other Words William just represents a pawn to Ford.

20 minutes into the finale and I can already tell you all I'm not doing next season no matter how it ends. I've tried, I even liked the beginning of this season.
I’ll still watch it just bc it’s visually stunning and the dude who does the music is a genius. I love the music sequences. High budget movie quality stuff and better. But the everyone could be a host stuff is getting tiresome for sure and there’s not a single character that’s worth sticking around for either
As long as one host is alive all hosts are alive.
And all the visitors can potentially become hosts because they have been scanned by the hive.

So it's been a few days and I watched the last two episodes again. Not as disappointing as the first pass.
I saw that. Bummer. I was one of the few that likes season 2. Can’t wait for 3

Maybe. I think they’re going to try to just fit without being discovered at first. So kind of like Bladerunner. They gotta get more bots out of the park or learn how to make themselves before it becomes a war imo
This is kinda how i picture it. You know there has to be a lab/production facility that will be discovered. Always a fan of the futurist genre, and have always enjoyed the AI debate too.
