It’s just really funny how abnoxious and confident they were after the fbi thing and now they’re not gonna make the tourney and the Boogs are poised to be a top 5 seed. Just great how it’s turned out. Love how butthurt they are just a few days after winning a natty

Petty isn’t on the same planet as Bryce right now even if his ceiling is higher. Only kid they have that would start for us is Sexton. I only say that to not sound like a homer cause I don’t believe he’s an all around upgrade from what Jared does for us. Hall is on par with Mac and Horace at best. Rest of their bigs are total stiffs.

So, that was impressive. Can’t say enough about how mentally tough this team is. They have handled adversity well to this point, which was a concern of mine. Defense in the second half was really good. The energy levels on both ends were much better. The extra day before Bama will be welcomed.
Now, some of the negative. Slow starts in the last two games could’ve been problematic to teams who were better. Gotta find ways to get easier looks sooner against these aggressive man defenses. Their hedges on ball screens really screwed with Harper and Mitchell, and we weren’t able to get downhill and create off the drive. We definitely looked tired and dead legged to start. Energy shouldn’t be too much of an issue in that game, but we still need to be focused on both ends.
Huge game at Bama Wednesday. Let’s hope this doesn’t end like the baseball series against them last year.

Their numbers were expected to be down with how tall MSU is. Maybe not that bad though. Think they had more trouble than they thought they would which is strange since they go against Austin in practice

One of my favorite things about this board is these hoops game threads. I don't read them or post on them during the games and then I come back and read all the posts from start to finish hours afterwards. Good stuff in here and minimal overreaction to bad stretches of play, especially compared to tbb.
