Post it. I want to share it on the bunker when rice askswho could we get better than Gus.Just saw something that said Gus is 22-21 against P5 teams since the Kick six. The three UF coaches are 21-21. Thank god for stability if this is accurate.

Misleading effing stat is misleading.
What is misleading about it?
Because they for years played in the shittiest division of all of college football. I am not a Gus apologist but they don’t have near the resume as us as far as quality wins go.
They play LSU and UGA everywhere. FSU. They’ve played bama 2-3 times over that stretch. I think the stat is quite telling even if our schedule has probably been slightly tougher. As opposed to playing in the mighty West. Where four of the other six schools fired coaches in that time frame. It could be argued that Gus's "success" on paper is misleading.
Lulz. Easiest bait I ever set
I am not certain if that one yet. I need to see MooU play an SEC game but it's possible there combination of players and coaches is better than ours at a few positions.I’m looking forward to beating MSU in Starkville and then having everyone get cocky going into UGA
Much like his recruiting efforts, Gus' record isn't as good as it appears as first glance. As opposed to playing in the mighty West. Where four of the other six schools fired coaches in that time frame. It could be argued that Gus's "success" on paper is misleading.
Didn't read hook properly the first time.@demeat you swallowed the hook bruh
Homeless men are about all his wife could pull so that's probably true.Tell everyone I said, "8-5". Also, tell @Jay G.Tate I said his hair makes him look like he enjoys watching his wife get railed by homeless men.
If you question him on it he will say “it’s just the ACC”..and thats a little true but it’s still impressive and doesn’t negate the mediocre soup gus gives us each year.“ even Dabo wasn't consistent in year 6 at Clemson(Clemsoning was still a thing)”.
Rice nugget of the day for me. Dabo went 32-8 in seasons 3-5 at Clemson. Gus went 25-15. Also, Dabo won 10 games in year 3 and has accomplished that every season since. Man Rice is special.
Why?Dabo is a great program builder but he's still got his own dumb dumb Gus moments. Losing to syracuse last year was fuggin inexcusible and should have knocked clemson out of hte playoff.
I don't think Gus would be accomplishing what Dabo is doing at clemson, but I also don't think Dabo would be half as successful if he was at AU

no. I just think that of the "big" programs out there that AU is probably one of the hardest to win at. Going against UGA and Saban in 2 weeks every year is difficult, and if you win then you have to still win the SEC title game. It's just rough. Most other programs have their most difficult games spread out more. AU has doesn't. I don't think Dabo would've won a title at AU and I think Clemson has had some really fortuitous roads to the finals. Dude lost to Syracuse and still made it to the cfb playoff. That makes no sense to me. If you don’t believe Dabo is a championship coach after the last 7 years, you must not think there is but one decent coach in the entire country.

All it comes down to is recruiting, and there are several coaches out there able to build a consistent OL/DL and backfield on the merits of 2 natty appearances, 2 SEC titles and 1 natty in a 4-year span.no. Just started a thread saying that if Saban had benched Tua earlier we wouldn't be stuck with Gus's awful contract. Wish me luck gang.
He wouldn’t even be here if our clock operator would’ve just been a little slower against LSU in 2016Just started a thread saying that if Saban had benched Tua earlier we wouldn't be stuck with Gus's awful contract. Wish me luck gang.

I lost $300 to a dude on tbb. I had Lester getting fired before Gus.
discovered your alias?
tbb, including our very own @cookedw, has decided UGA is a good match up for us because they only have 1 sack this year. I’ve never seen a more optimistic group in my life. Didn’t LSU have only 1 sack against us? And only bring 3-5 in obvious passing situations? I’m not sure I see the reasoning but I hope they are all right.
Yep, I said UGA was actually a good matchup for us and shouldn't be counted as a definite L for us. It is a toss up, IMO, that I think we can win. And a large part of that is because of their DL play so far.
But if you wanted me to give a prediction, I'd say UGA in a close win.
JMO
Who did their DLine play poorly against?
Poor isn't the word I would use. They are not bad by any means. Just haven't gotten a lot of push.

Why on earth would you "not see that"?I personally don't see that, but you could be right in the end.
Why on earth would you "not see that"?
In Athens.
Facing a much more talented opponent.
JB Grimes talent across the OL.
Stidham happy feet.
Gus.
To not see it is simply being willfully dense at this point.
They held USCe to 2.7 YPC rushing, and left Bentley with a passer rating below 40. On the road. But it isn't dense. UGA's DL through three games has gotten very little push against the likes of USCe, MTSU, and Austin Peay. Our pass protection actually has been pretty good, its our run blocking that has been terrible.
So as of today and what we have seen through three games, it isn't dense at all to think we can keep it close with UGA and have a chance to win the game.
