My God Bruce is indomitable. SEC foes promising this young stud starter mins and Bruce snaps his fingers the young genius comes running to be a boog.

Meanwhile sounds like all the 5* children were thoroughly impressed last week. Boston, Sharife, Keon. Haven’t heard anything on Edwards. We know that Kessler kid has long since forgotten his family lineage at UGA due to becoming smitten with BP.

I'm hoping/guessing Bruce gets one of Boston/Keon/Edwards. Can't imagine 2 of them. I'm guessing Bruce pulls Sharife and Keon in 2020 and that's gonna have to be at least a top 2 guard class in the country.

just watched some Tyrell Jones highlights again:

the young man's juke step to open up three is already at a ridic level. maybe his actual shot isn't elite. But that quickness is so crazy. A 2020 backcourt of Sharife, Tyrell, and Okoro is the stuff of dreams. Kind of think Jones could move to the 2. Thoughts?

as the game continues to get more wide open, more skilled, and trends a little smaller, teams can afford to play smaller guards, or multiple smaller guards... it’s been a thing in the college game for a long time anyway, guard heavy teams, sometimes smaller teams, have always been able to win big... but there seems to be an increased focus now on, not multiple guards, but multiple ball handlers and creators, sharing the court

teams in the past would play a point guard and 2 shooting guards to put a 3 guard lineup on the court, but more teams are playing 2 point guards together now, provided they can defend well enough against bigger backcourts... I like the look, especially considering BRUCE’s preferred style of play... it’s not something I expect him to transition to in large doses, but it’s definitely a wrinkle he can use to divvy up minutes to his best guys

I just think it's gonna be like any coach in that Bruce will want to get his most talented guys on the floor. Think Tyrell can transition to the 2. We'll see. None of anything is guaranteed in college hoops. Possible that Sharife isn't even there and that Okoro goes pro by 2020.

My God. Kid is just sick. Got a little Jared hitch in his J but looks like he can still stroke it.

One of the most athletic point guards in the country, Jones' game is built upon speed, speed and more speed. He burst onto the national scene during the summer thanks to his play with the Showtime Ballers.

Nicknamed "Turbo", he does his damage on quick drives to the rim, pushes tempo in transition and Jones can really sit down and heat up guys defensively with his fast hands and ability to move his feet.

Talk about showtime at the Clam with that backcourt. I don’t think he’d really need to transition we just play 2 PGs that can both do it all. He certainly looks physical enough to lock up some oaffy ass wing player from any other lesser program.

it’s almost as if BRUCE held this commitment until Gus did something derpy and BRUCE could give the green light to go public for maximum exposure of his competence vs Gus’ incompetence

what’s that? Gus blew a kids redshirt because he can’t count to 5 and then blew a chance to play him in a do or die game to save his job? get Tyrell on the phone, tell him to drop the video tonight

i mean. If jared decides to stay. Might jsut have to process McCormick so Tyrell gets his minutes next year. It's a dirty business but that's the game guys.

Cannot think of a better successor to Jared than Tyrell. More mature and a bigger frame with serious defensive ability.

Looks like JLee says AU is done for this class as far as HS studs are concerned. Guess I’ll take his word for it.

Thought they may have been looking at another front court player but they must think Chuma isn’t near nba ready

Thought they were gonna go after a grad tranny big but this works out fine. Definitely need some more size wood next season with Austin and Horace gone
