Difference between football and basketball is that you can leave early, not get drafted and still get paid. Jared is a guy that one more year isn't going to change anything. Either he can get paid in the league or he can't and he's going to Europe to make money playing ball. Either way he will make a lot more money doing that than he will playing ball at Auburn. Danjel might just leave because he might get passed on the depth chart.
The fact that Jared entered his name into the draft after last year means he definitely wants to leave. But I doubt he'd just go to Europe after 3 years in boogville. He could legit have a statue outside the arena if he stayed all four years. Wonder if something like that means anyting to him
Jared reminds me of Young front oklahoma. With a good year I think he could get drafted. Young, Curry, etc are showing you don’t have to be y’all to be an effective PG in the league.
yeah. but he's still a good 4 to 5 inches shorter than those guys. Tyler Ulis is still in the league and he's about Jared's height so it's possible. I'm just hoping he sticks around
Worst case scenario we make a run at a natty this year, lose a few guys and are left with only like a 5 seed type club next year. Then after that we’re elite as long as Bruce will have us.

Oh, I understand. But I just don't think leaving early to play overseas is as appealing to these players as some of you may think. JMO
But I also said, I was not accounting for the potential to transfer.

am I reading that right? his team scored 54 and he scored 14 of it and assisted on at least 20 more? assume a couple assists led to 3’s and he was directly responsible for 2/3rds of their points as a big?

Yeah. He plays for like a super small 1A school though. So I imagine he’s like the only decent player they have so I’m sure all the offense goes through him
