We’re getting Kuminga.

I have no reason to believe we’re gonna get Kuminga. Bruce gonna have to add a couple under the radar prospects and turn them into studs quickly.

I think you said it best earlier in this thread. The basketball gods and blue bloods won’t allow Bruce to land multiple 5 star superstuds in one class. It’d make it too easy for him.

Well so much for the clean sweep. Gonna console myself with the fact that experience usually wins in the tourney so we didn't need one and dones anyways.

Would have felt better if we lost GB to a real bball school though and not freaking Texas

He thinks we have a good shot at all 3. As of now picking Thor and Jalen to AU. His official picks will go in Sunday
Just checked in & read most of that thread. Not to be gloomy doomy, but that guy is the biggest homer in all of the Boog universe. By that I mean don’t get to carried away by what JLee forecasts. Hope I’m wrong, but he has been so many times that it doesn’t mean squat to me anymore. It’s like the sheep over there forget even his latest prognostications every recruiting period no matter the sport. One year in huthut he told everyone to start making fun of their Bam friends because of what he knew was coming. Bought my Dad a script that day and all nada nada. Everything blew up in his face TL;DR
I told y’all. How the hell is that guy a prognosticator for anything except Ashley Madison?

As a long-time AU fan, I’m just amazed that BRUCE has gotten us “in the conversation” with such elite talent!

War Darn Eagle!!!!!

I didn’t read the article on Caldwell but I would assume he’s ours now after our last two misses.
Yeah supposedly there’s rumblings from the boogosphere that’s we’re ‘close’ to offering and the child wants to commit soon.

He doesn’t do much for me in all honesty but I guess it’s time to secure a decent big with some potential. Would pretty much scrap the whole package deal for Kuminga/ Sanogo but maybe that’s not really likely anyway. Save the last spot for Kuminga or whatever the best 2/3 option we can get late.

Kuminga would be amazing but I expect him to go the G League route as well. NCAA has to get the $$$ issue pushed through in a hurry and we’ve got to start investing more in our duffel bags.

I don't really care either way about paying or not paying. I think there is a false narrative out there about these kids not being able to afford a pizza and that certainly isn't the case. That being said, pay em or whatever I don't really care. All that being said, I don't see the sustainability of paying kids to play in the G-League. The only way I was going to watch Jalen Green was if he played for or against the boogs, or tourney time. Maybe a Duke/UNC game but that's about it. How are they going to get a return on their investment?

Just out of curiosity, why do you expect him to go the G League route as well? Has he given indication that's what he is likely to do?

I ask this as I have no clue. But Green is the only 2020 guy on that list to go to the G-League

I think Josh Langford will decide in the next month to remain at MSU or to transfer. If he decides to transfer, I think we would be in the drivers seat to land him.

He's been injured the past two years with stress fractures in his left foot, but he was a really solid player when healthy. 12 PPG, 40% from 3, 85% FT shooter for a Top 25 team.

Hopefully him and his Dad decide to transfer out and decide for him to stay closer to home in Auburn.

Some juicy intel from 247 sports. Boogs are crootin Cardwell and Kuminga. They could at least thank the Greg for providing them info sheesh.

Would be a nice pickup. I never like our chances with guys not from our home state of GA though. Particularly a state as antisemitic and hostile towards Auburn as AL.

looking like per Insta Caldwell might have just got a firm offer from AU. Not sure if he committed, but Rife and others have posted a pick with him in an Boog uni that reads Yes Sir!

He is fairly handsome and athletic for a gargantuan. I’ll get on board pretty quickly if he’s a boog.

It just feels weird that we're scraping the barrel for some leftovers. But he's still a solid looking player. No offensive skill outside of being really close to the basket. But those big hulking rim protectors that can run the floor still have plenty of value in the college game

doubt boogs are interested given we have a dearth of talent at that spot, but he was a Boog target before he went to Wake

We must have different definitions of "scraping the Barrell for some leftovers".

Your last question is the 64 million dollar one. I really just want us to buy a couple of these type guys on this list every year or two. Whether G League makes it or not.

He will have to get a waiver to play immediately. Isn't a grad transfer.

The way I read it it sounds like he might have a solid argument if they canned the coach the day before he had to make a decision on entering the draft, and then delayed his paperwork. We could really use a big with that type of offensive weaponry.

the G-League path is going to piss me off at some point. Not happy with it this year but i have a feeling it will rear it's ugly head again with the way Bruce is going after these studs.

The more I’ve read about it the more I feel it’s here to stay. Will definitely impact Bruce and the other big time coaches.
