Yeah, it really doesn't matter as long as you have an elite OL. bammer has tall, stiff, large, etc, etc runningbacks and they get a lot of yards, so most tards think you have to have that style of back to be successful. It all starts up front with the OL. Look at Kerryon Johnson, that son of a beeyutch just ran for 200yds in a game on 1 damn leg. On 2-3 runs he didn't get touched. He didn't get touched because of good blocking, not because he was some exceptional runningback.
Take the Harris kid from bama. He had 14 carries for 124 yards with 8.86 ypc. Some Auburn tards drool at that stat line. 75 of those yards came off of one run in which he went untouched. Take away that one run(BECAUSE TARDS LOVE DOING THAT WITH KERRYON) and he has 49 yards on 13 carries.
