******Official Boog Recruiting Thread******

I meant between the two. Basically I've heard Luper was a decent assistant, but Trooper would undermine the other coaches. Tried to be players friend not coach etc...

My best friend who attended coaching camps and practices said Trooper was the better coach and the Hoover offensive staff couldn’t believe just how shitty Luper was at actual coaching.

Kyle Davis is in the transfer portal.
let me know when he's gone plaid

Been said he will not qualify. Dunno how true that statement is but it’s been said.

That's a possibility, but if he signs with AU on Wednesday (or UGA, LSU, or UT), then it means he has a realistic chance of qualifying. With the way they count signees now, those teams won't sign a kid that has zero to little chance of qualifying

I have zero idea if he will qualify and I get the logic behind your opinion. I on the otherhand would not/will not be surprised if we sign(ed) a guy that could potentionally not qualify and lose him before he ever gets on campus. We do not run a program very well. We let Asa burn his scholly then transfer. We let guys sit on the bench buried in the depth chart for three years before moving them to d their senior year. We run a guy until he is broken and still play him because we did not prepare a backup.

Not that I keep up with it too much anymore anyway, but the early signing period really does knock the excitement out of tomorrow

Pickens hasn’t given any of the coaches or his friends any indication he signs anywhere but Auburn. His grades are close and it’s going to come down to semester exams. He’s got all the help to get it done, he just had to do the work.

bama quit recruiting Pickens because they don’t think he can do it. bama doesn’t need to recruit a guy like Pickens, but Auburn, tenn and UGA do. He’s a Julio Jones type of player and you take a chance. Him signing somewhere has nothing to do with his grades being better than originally thought. His grades are shit for a student athlete. Hopefully he realizes the opportunity and gets it done this semester. I asked someone very close to George......”will George qualify” and the response “he has never showed me anything in the classroom that would indicate he will”

how dumb do you have to fuggin be to not qualify for college? Even if you're super fuggin lazy, it takes a lot of effort to fugg that up. For real

Here is something that is going to sound crazy, but is true. George Pickens is pretty intelligent. He does not do homework.......well, let me rephrase that. Before this semester George never did homework of any sort.
