Gonna be interesting to see if the new staff honors his scholarship a year from now.

The entire class for 2020 is about getting as many kids committed as possible, hope they fall in love with AU and then are available for the next HC to make decisions on. Though given our overall numbers, the chance of landing a super class during a coaching change and what normally comes with a change, I'd say just about any decent recruit will have their scholarship honored because we'll need them.

That’s what I’m saying. JGT is a douche but I’m guessing he was being nice giving Ben like a year long contract just to keep him on his feet once SEC country went belly up and then they didn’t renew it obviously

Ah yeah you may be right. Maybe somewhat mutual, but yeah having three FT guys under him probably wasn’t good for Jay’s bottom line.

Kinda wonder how 247 pulls it off since they just brought the Scout guys on board too

Talent covers up a lot of coaching mistakes. He might mess up a timeout or two, or go for it on 4th when he should not, but actual on the field coaching and teaching kids up won’t ever be an issue for him.
