off the top of my head - and feel free to add
telling the announcers earlier this week he feels we’ve still got a shot at a national title
kick returners fumble after running into each other
busted play out of a gimmick formation that we spent either 0 time practicing, or hours, who knows - it’s equally beautiful either way... either the most inefficient practice time ever, or 0
a solid, competent, first and second possession that lulls you into a false sense of security
gimmick playcall mid-drive to stop momentum
gimmick of all gimmick calls leading to interception
saying “we’d be winning by a lot more” without the 2 turnovers, with no realization that the translation is “we’d be winning by a lot more if I didn’t call that bullshit in the middle of a drive when we’re moving the ball well without it”
some plays that worked that will be called repeatedly, even after not working at all after the first time
some plays that worked that will never be called again this month or until the UGA/BAMA games
some plays that didn’t work, that will continue to be called, multiple times, even though they’re not working
I’m sure I’m missing 15 other things, but that’s a good start
we’ve got some things we need to see this half though:
wasted timeout early - preferably on defense on 4th down when we’re confused if they’re going for it, or on offense on 4th down when we’re confused on if we’re going for it
turnover when a punt hits one of our players who never sees it coming
going into an offensive shell as panic sets it
some complete offensive clusterfvck - snap when QB isn’t ready, wildcat snap over someone’s head, WR throws interception, sack/fumble on trick play
big play called back by illegal formation because some OT out in formation waving his arms like a mental patient confused our team or the refs on which receivers were eligible
a surprise! something I don’t even know is coming that cements this as the greatest achievement of his coaching career, if not life
I’m ready for it... I want this more than life itself right now
